about the designer
about
As a student in the Appalachian state university interior design program, I have learned to further develop my love for design and grow upon the skills needed to create meaningful environments. My design philosophy is simple; create spaces that inspire others and improve the lives of those in who come in contact with my work. Design is more than just the aesthetics, its about the experience, the environment, the functionality and how ones life can be positively impacted, through said design. I hope to spend my career shaping the lives of those across the world through innovative and creative design solutions. Armed with my strong work ethic and determination I am ready to take on any design challenge.

hotel de paris | fall 2017 Hotel De Paris is a small boutique hotel located just outside the city of Paris in Boulogne. With new owners, the hotel needed a renovation that would reflect the vibrant and historical city. The existing design was outdated, small, and unable to create a pleasing environment for guests. With changes to the layout of the building, the functionality of the spaces, and the overall appearance of both the ground floor and the boarding floors, the hotel design now allows for an enjoyable stay.

The 2018 PAVE project challenge was to redesign three separate areas of The Home Depot store. For the submission, I decided to design the garden creation space, the new decor area, and the new product demo area. Each of these spaces were designed with technology, community, and education as the design drivers following the current and expected trends in retail design.

HOSPITAL 14 | SPRING 2018
This hospital was designed with the future in mind, adhering to the latest trends and push in technological advancements. This pediatrics wing offers the patient their needed comforts in a limited space using space maximization methods and technology aids. Each room is fully personalized, helping with the child and their families road to recovery. Each wing of the hospital features several iterations of patient rooms, family waiting rooms, nurses stations, and nurses lounges.
