Here are a few extracts from a magazine I created showing the layouts used in sections throughout. Clean, simple lines were used to create a dynamic effect to match the strong and colorful images used.

Here are a few pieces that have been taken from a Trend book I created that predicted trends for Spring/Summer 2011. I created four different trends all with a theme of ‘Born to be….’ The trend shown is ‘Born to be wild.’

Topshop is a leading global retailer of affordable, contemporary and individual style however I felt it was missing a crucial element demanded by customers these days, interactive experiences. So I created a two-week experiential campaign to give Topshop back its edge. The experience will come in the form of a sensational travelling party using two Double Decker Buses as the focal point for the event. Topshop will be looking to engage the public offering style, make-up, nail care and general fashion advice in a unique and creative manner. This form of campaign will allow Topshop to give something back to it’s customers and allow for a stronger bond to be formed between them.

Here are a few examples of the types of marketing that would be implemented for the event. There will be a variety of different posters to promote the event which will be in the store and out of the store. Also In-store will be flyers which will inform customers about the event.

This is an example of what the Press Pack for the event will look like which will be sent to all relevant Press.

PeachyKeen was a functioning business formed with myself and four others, through a Graduate Enterprise Module. It specialized in an assortment of high quality vintage girts ranging from miniature picture holders to decorative cushions. The Business traded over the course of a year and made a modest profit at the time of liquidation.

A business plan was created for the company, which got entered into the Graduate Enterprise awards. PeachyKeen got highly commended and won a prize of ÂŁ250.

In June 2007 I did a two-week work placement with Prima Baby magazine which is part of the ‘National Magazine Company.’ Prima Baby provides answers in print and online to all the important issues facing every mum and mum to be. At the company my roles included assisting the fashion director at fashion shoots, helping coordinate and style the shoots. I also had to ensure the models at the shoots were well looked after and fulfill any of their requirements. I had to source and collected specific outfits for shoots happening each week. Due to the size of the company I was allowed to take on a considerable amount of responsibility.

I have worked for Vauxhall Fashion Scout on two separate occasions. Once in 2009 as part of the backstage dressing team. The second time in 2010 as a member of the Front of House. As a dresser my roles included working closely with designers to ensure outfits were put together correctly. Working as a team to ensure the designers and models had everything they needed. I worked alongside designers such as Hermoione de Paula, Alice Palmer and David Korma. As part of the Front of House team my roles mainly consisted of greeting guests and VIP’s ensuring they know how to navigate the event. I also had to work closely with PR teams to lay out press information about each designer in a orderly manor for guests to take. I worked with designers such as David Korma, William Tempest and BODYMAR.

NET-A-PORTER is the world’s premier online luxury fashion retailer. I did months internship with them, working in their In-House PR team. My daily jobs included; following NAP coverage in all magazines zwho have been lent samples, ensuring they are returned in a safe and efficient way (handling this in a polite and friendly manor). I also had to be on hand to assist the PR team with any aspects of their job. While I was working with NAP they were leading up to their 10th Anniversary, this allowed me to help of with the planning, organisation and set up of the event, an invaluable experience.
