HELLo So you’re looking for a wedding photographer, huh? Alrighty. I’m Hannah. A tattooed adventurer with a passion for pretty pictures and all things lovely. I live on the moors at the northern edge of the Peak District and travel all over the place doing what I love: shooting weddings, telling stories of love & laughter, and eating lots of cake. I’m absolutely thrilled that you’re considering me. Thanks! My approach to your wedding is that, well, it’s yours. As unique and wonderful as you are. And that’s how it should be in photo form too. When you look back, you’ll want to remember your wedding day exactly as it was. The people you shared it with, the details that you poured your heart and soul into, the cheeky glint in your eyes when you first caught sight of one another, the nerves, the laughter, the tears... I aim to be as inobtrusive as possible so that I can document your day as it happens. More often than not, my couples say that they see me as (and their guests assume that I am) a friend. An extra pair of hands to help it all run smoothly, a warm smile of encouragement, a kick up the bum...whatever it takes. I’m there for the majority of the day and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure the experience exceeds your expectations. And then I’ll hand you a bunch of beautiful visual memories to treasure forever. Because I care about the people I work with and I blummin’ LOVE weddings.
full day cover My standard package provides 8 hours of cover (from bridal prep through to the first dance usually) with the option to increase to 12 hours for those that want to include some late night red hott disco dancing action. You will receive all of your images as hi-res files processed in my signature style as a digital download from your bespoke password protected web gallery. I also supply the images on disc and offer a range of album and other print options to suit every budget.

I generally work with an assistant who covers anything I can’t such as groom prep. This also means there is continuous candid coverage even whilst I’m shooting your portraits and any other formal shots plus we can cover your ceremony from a couple of angles. Bonus!
PRE-WED shoot I offer all of my couples a pre-wed shoot in Yorkshire at no extra cost. Shoots further afield are also an option, but I’d ask you to cover my travel expenses. The pre-wed shoot is a great opportunity for us to hang out and get to know each other before the big day. I show you how I work and go through some tips to help you look your best naturally, you learn to relax in front of the camera and see how fab you look in the results, and we all go away with a warm fuzzy feeling and hopefully a pint of beer or a lovely cup of tea in our belly. The shoots last about 2 hours and take place on weekday evenings usually as my weekends tend to be reserved for shooting weddings. You can buy hi-res files and prints from the shoot including products such as a bespoke photo guestbook or signing frame.

albums If there’s one thing about my job that never ceases to amaze me, it’s how exciting it is to see wedding photies in print for the first time. Digital files are great, yes. We can share them easily and back them up. But there’s just something truly magical about an actual printed version that makes my heart tremble. Looking through wedding albums often takes my breath away. There’s a wonderful nostalgia to it. And a good album is such a wonderful heirloom. I’m so happy to be able to offer two lovely options for my from couples. Starting £140

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? If you’d like to see more of my work, have a look through my blog as all of my latest weddings are featured on there. I can also send you a link to an online gallery showing some full weddings to give you an idea of the type of coverage you can expect. Just let me know if you’d like to have a nosey. If that all sounds good to you...the next thing we should do is have a good old natter. It’s important to make sure that you click with the photographer you choose. You end up spending a heck of a lot of time with them on a very important and emotional day, so the last thing you want is someone who will annoy you. You need someone who will fit in at your wedding and be able to produce the sorts of photos that really mean something to you and look/feel like you remember the day. If you guys want to check that I fit the bill, I’d be more than happy to give you a call or set up a skype chat. And if things are all systems go...in order to reserve your date, I ask for a £400 booking fee. The balance is then due 4 weeks before the wedding. If you’d like me to send over a copy of the booking form so that you can have a read through everything, just ask. Finally, tell me as much about your day as you feel like sharing. I love weddings and I am passionate about the people I work with so I like to get to know them. I love to hear all about your plans for the day and to play as big a part in helping things run smoothly as I possibly can. If you have any questions for me, relating to weddings or otherwise, just shout. You can ask me anything.
