STATEMENT OF PURPOSE This document provides guidelines to ensure the correct use of the organization's brand identity. The brand helps convey the organization's message of normalizing the discourse of human rights and democracy among the youth. Also, it helps establish prominence to the organization's audience. By applying these guidelines to different endeavors in communication, campaigns, and partnerships, you help establish the prominence and the message that the Youth for Human Rights and Democracy would like to convey.

LOGO USES, COMPONENTS, AND SPECIFICATIONS


Logotype Components The logotype of the organization is comprised of two key elements: the logo and the subtitle of the organization. A sans serif font was used in order to emphasize the modern identity of the organization.

Logotype Uses Social Media Logotype Patrons may only use both components or the second component logotype for all media transactions. The organization may be the only party that can use the first component logotype for all media transactions.

Specification on Spacing The height of the first and second component should be equal (xyz) to show coherence in the logotype. the logotype emphasizes the phrase human rights and democracy, thus, lines y and z are of equal height. Line x are also of equal height. the letters in line w are equally spaced. Line v should never be shorter than line u, thus, the first logotype component should never be stretched. v

Application to Background The following figures illustrate the proper and improper usage of the logo. Rules on usage may change from time to time depending on the case of the material. Should there be any changes, the chairperson for communications will notify the concerned people via letter.


To properly present the organization, it is imperative to brand the logo in the appropriate manner. The logo requires great contrast with the background or the image. The multi-colored logo should be used for white or light gray backgrounds only. The white, blue, orange, and black flat logos can be used in different publicity materials depending on the color of the material.

This is the correct placement of the emblem and the subtitle.

The emblem should not be above the subtitle and should observe the proper spacing.

Social Media Primary Fonts Sans Serif fonts, specifically Bebas Neue and Open Sans were utilized in order to successfully attain the organization's aim to appeal to contemporary times.

Legal & Formal Document Fonts Similar to the social media fonts, Sans Serif fonts, specifically Open Sans were utilized in order to attain professionalism in all documents. The organization is amenable to using different fonts if it is only prescribed.
