This project will design a park as a buffer zone between the Peruvian National Museum, Heritage Museum and the wetland to enhance the cohesion and connectivity of the three places.
In the century of ‘clip thinking’ a platform is needed where people can watch and enjoy films. A meeting place that encourages conversations and dialogue between people. On a macro scale, a space that helps in reaffirming contextual identity and brings the city in frame.
The project is located in Henggang Village, an ancient waterfront village in the South of Yangtze River. Less and less residential population is a general problem in most villages alike in China. People living here are most seniors who prefer staying in their hometown.

CONCEPT
THE MAIN CONTRADICTION OF THE VENUE The restaurant suffered severe flooding in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Dozens of people were missing, hundreds died, and more than one million people were displaced. The death toll has risen to 373.
The dams were full in the first half of the rainy season due to the poor management. Therefore, downstream areas are more easily flooded affected by flood discharge.
About 1.2 million people were driven out of their homes and sought shelter among the thousands of emergency camps built around the state.
Some direct their anger at deforestation, which is one of the factors that results in the smooth flow of water on land.
Ten days of heavy rainfall forced officials to discharge water in dozens of dangerous dams full of water to prevent dam bursts. Rising waters also triggered landslides, which is the cause of the large number of deaths recorded.
Main road Agricultural Land Wetland
Local people mainly live on fisheries.
In the once-in-a-hundred-year disaster, 14 areas of Cochin suffered from different degrees of disaster, and hundreds of thousands of people were displaced. 33 among 39 reservoirs discharged the flood, which further led to the rise of water.
Reservoirs are constructed upstream. Described as the worst in a century, the flood was triggered by the monsoon season running from June to September.

BACKGROUND
IMMERSIVE THEME PARK Pachacamac 2020
Project background: This project will design a park as a buffer zone between the Peruvian National Museum, Heritage Museum and the wetland to enhance the cohesion and connectivity of the three places. The Pachacamac site is one of the most important heritage areas in Peru. The project will further consolidate the Pachacamac Reserve and explore the relationship between the city of Lima and its historical sites and arid landscape.

SITE ATATUS The main contradiction is the destruction of the ruins and ecology by urbanization expansion, and the occupation of the public space of local residents. Physical aspect: the extent of destruction caused by the urban expansion of Lima and the deforestation of residents. Cultural aspect: The characteristics of the site are curved.

STORYLINE
The site is a shrine used by indigenous people during the Inca period to worship Pachacamak, the "God of Creation".
SITE DIAGRAM
During the Inca Empire, it became a majestic temple of the sun on the central coast of Peru. It was an administrative, religious, and sacrificial center in many cultural periods, and it occupies an important position in the history of ancient Peruvian civilization.
MAPPING The site is surrounded by three buildings: MUNA, SITE MUSEUN and URPIWACHAQ.
The highway interrupted the continuity of the venue.
Adjust site boundaries and plots according to simple geometric shapes.

urban
to balance the interaction between the city hub and the historical site, a buffer zone has been addressed as open public space celebrating user’s activities.
Destroyed by the invaded Spanish colonists in 1533.

Reducing wetland degradation aroused by urban expansion, citizen littering and excessive deforestation. Protecting wetland biodiversity.
Attracting tourists, driving tourism, and activating local vitality. Stimulating local economic growth by tourism trade.
Choosing local soil friendly vegetation as plant materials contribute to soil improvement Recudeing nagetive impact on local ecosystem. Wind control reducing wind erosion of the near by architectures. Structures made by local wastes aiming to recall the awareness of recycling importance.
The audience is tourists and local residents of surrounding scenic spots, hoping to meet the cultural and entertainment needs of tourists, while meeting the daily rest and communication needs of local residents.

South of the venue lies a highway, with deserts on three other directions. Thus, means of plants and landform are applied to lift the height around the venue to reduce the bad impact on it brought by surroundings.
stone step path lawn
Blocks paved by stones near the green corridor are chosen to analyze the growth of plants mainly including maidenhair, bougainvillea, palm and date palm trees. Maidenhair and bougainvillea will be flourishing, and palm and date palm trees will just start to grow in ten years. Rapid growth of plants in twenty years and maturation in fifty years will enclose a secluded privacy space.

PERSPECTIVE
Movies are screened at the open-air theater for tourists. Demands of strolling, watching movies and resting are met by the irregularly designed steps. Surrounding plants assist with the enclosed space.
Roof slope connected with the roof garden guides tourists with the sights of the venue. Cactus and maidenhairs are planted. Railings around the roof are made of glass and metal to enrich the facade of the venue.
There is a square for daily gathering function at the higher terrain enclosed by seats and plants. Tourists can watch from directions about.
Entering through the secondary entrance behind the open-air theater, one may overlook the whole theater and the sight of roof garden from above.
Enclosed by tree array and bushes, the secondary entrance helps tourists with the sight tour.
