Cultivar of the Month: Blue and Cream

By The Terp Attorney

In New Jersey, on St. Patrick’s day Breakwater Alternative Treatment Center released a new strain “Blue and Cream”. Blue and Cream, which was created by Swampboys Seeds, has genetics from GMO (Garlic Monster/Miracle Cookies) crossed with Triangle Kush and an M10 male. To properly assess the strain’s full terpene profile I sampled the Blue and Cream in the Storz & Bickel Volcano vaporizer and in raw cones.

If you are unfamiliar with the volcano vaporizer it is a hot air vaporizer that fills plastic balloons with perfectly vaporized cannabis vapor. It is the preferred method of cannabis consumption in Israeli hospitals and allows you to experience a strain’s terpenes without actually burning the flower. To some cannabis purists, this is perhaps one of the cleanest means of ingesting cannabis flowers.

According to Swampboys seeds, the dominant terpenes in Blue and Cream are Beta-Caryophyllene, Limonene, Mycrene, and Linalool. When ingesting a volcano bag of blue and cream I tasted some earthy flavors of GMO but the creaminess really was what stood out.

When I smoked the cone it had white ash and a solid terpene taste experience. The high was enjoyable, not too intense nor too weak. Overall, I would highly recommend trying this strain if you’re looking for a creamy GMO strain.
