YOUR WINTER Real Estate Wrap
AUTUMN MARKET Wrap Up
With almost half of 2021 out of the way, the property market is on fire. Low interest rates, consumer confidence and a genuine lack of stock for sale has led to record breaking sale prices and a significant decrease in days on market. Job keeper is now officially over and the end of that has shown that the property market was not propped up by the government. There are exciting times ahead for the remainder of the year. If you've been on the fence about selling, give me a call to discuss your needs or to get an updated appraisal in this hot market. - Sam Oborn

TIPS FOR Styling
BLANK CANVAS Start with a blank canvas remove all items and give it a all a good clean, maybe even a fresh coat of paint, work out how you use this space and what functions well for you and your family. Will it be a place that you need to store things like bags and jackets or do you just want to make a welcoming entry for your guests? The entry should always be starting point to tell a story of how the rest of the house feel! FINDING FURNITURE It's time to think about what will work best a hall table, does it need storage with draws for keys etc... or space for baskets to store shoes, or would a bench seat be more practical. Try finding something a little different, it might be is recycled piece of furniture, it always makes a good statement and a talking point. Look at whether you might need some to hang jackets and hats, do you need a coat stand or hooks on the wall. STATEMENT PIECES Statement piece, will it be the furniture or the ART. Sometimes you might not have room for hall table etc... so opt for a piece of art, don’t be scared to go big, if you have the space or two smaller ones to fill a long hallway! Mirror are a great idea too, they will help reflect light in dark hallways, and can make the space feel bigger. Make sure it doesn’t face the front door, Feng Shui states energy will bounce off it! DECOR Time to décor.... do you need a bowl for keys, family photos, find a frame that make a statement, lamps create a great mood and welcome entry at night. Don’t forget a plant, greenery adds life and energy into the home. Have fun and don’t be afraid to change it up every now and again!

Formidable marketing skills, an impeccable work ethic and a talent for identifying his clients’ needs have set Sam on an impressive career trajectory selling rural and lifestyle properties across the beautiful Adelaide Hills, with a particular focus on Hahndorf. And nearly a decade on and his drive and enthusiasm are stronger than ever. Following a successful career in the highly competitive wine industry that saw him working overseas and achieving top level results, Sam returned home to study a Master of Business (Property). To work as a valuer was his end game, but real estate had other plans. And so, he settled into sales as quickly and naturally as he settled his young family into the Stirling community. Sam is a passionate promoter of Hills living, citing the incomparable appeal of a country lifestyle within easy commute of the CBD, and the area’s solid track record for growth. Radiating a refreshing modesty that cloaks his many talents, Sam nevertheless recognizes the importance of having complete confidence in your choice of agent.
