Four riders at the start of the World Championships The Italian National Mountainbike Team has called up four of the five Under 23 riders of Merida Italia Team to participate at the World Championship of Vallnord (Andorra). The Italian Under 23 National Team that will participate at the upcoming World Championships in Andorra will have four athletes, all belonging in Merida Italia Team. The coach Hubert Pallhuber confirmed the already enrolled Gioele Bertolini, Stefano Valdrighi and Lorenzo Samparisi, calling up even the first year Under 23 Alessandro Naspi, who returns to dress the Italian Team jersey after the succesful season in the Juniores category of last year. Unfortunately it remains excluded from the event Mattia Setti. The athletes of the Team stayed this week in Val di Sole, where with the other mates of the national crew have prepared the World Championship, with special training session in high altitude zones, then they moved yesterday in the tiny state on the Pyrenees mountains that will host the event, former organizer of several stages of the World Cup in the past years.
