Canopus.

Canopus is a remarkable building is planned for Ahmedabad’s growing corridor to create a unique landmark. The idea behind this design is to make things more efficient and save time by combining different uses in one building.

This high-rise building will have various functions and will mark the beginning of a new era for the city, changing its skyline. Despite facing challenges, the design aims to create an iconic and memorable structure that reflects Ahmedabad’s evolving identity.

Alpha Centauri.

Alpha Centauri has been conceived to curate an extensive collection of diverse artworks and historical artifacts, all within a resplendent architectural setting that not only pays homage to the city’s rich heritage but also underscores its contemporary prowess.

This museum stands as an iconic structure, magnetizing not only tourists but also a wider local audience, its distinctiveness emanating from its architectural marvel. This project represents the pinnacle of my design and software proficiencies, a testament to my exceptional craftsmanship.

The cooling effect is enhanced by the combination of north winds and fountains, promoting effective evaporation. The public green space is strategically designed to shield against the intense southern sun. The landscaping creates an interactive and captivating space.

Proxima Centauri.

Proxima Centauri presents a fascinating hypothetical scenario involving a superhero client with extraordinary mind control abilities, challenging conventional architectural norms.

The design caters to a superhero with a supercomputer attached to their brain, enabling mind control at multiple levels Designing for this unique project allowed me to unleash my creativity fully.

Individual | Acadamic project | Sem 2 Seattle, USA Superhero Pod

The shower discreetly serves as a functional elevator leading to the secure lab, while also functioning as a shower.

The lower lab deck is unmistakable, functioning seamlessly via a BrainMachine Interface, requiring no physical interaction.

The aquarium adds aesthetic and dynamism to the chill zone and secretly acts as a test subject for the mind control experiments that’s carried out by azmuth.

The roof is equipped with anti-missiles, radar, and advanced weaponry to defend against potential attacks.

Concept :

A towering structure surpassing the peak, emerging as an extrusion, with a breathtaking 360-degree view.

Cons:

Highly vulnerable to attack from all sides.

Concept :

Creating a modern cave by cutting a section of the mountain and enclosing the pod within a glass wall.

Cons:

Environmentally highly damaging, with high ecological impact.

Concept :

An encircling ring that extends outward from the mountain’s surface.

Cons:

The size is excessive and does not harmonize with the natural landscape.

Concept :

A protruding cliffside pod, partially carved into the mountain.

Pros:

Nestled between three protective mountains, with minimal mountain carving to minimize environmental impact.

Massacsphere.

The Massacsphere project, created for India’s 75th Independence Day, seeks to evoke the terror experienced during the Jalianwala Bagh massacre, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of the pain and suffering endured by those affected.

The concept aimed to immerse individuals in the experience of being at the receiving end of a gun, allowing them to step inside and feel the sensation firsthand.

Symmetry is maintained throughout the structure.

Starting from the bottom, it follows a circular base with concentric stairs raising up to form a uniform crystal.

The structure is balanced with the officers holding guns adjacent to each other, through which people can go in order to experience the space from within. The design tries to resolve the narrow alley which emcompass the mass captivity as survivors within the small space got caught. This was done by placing three entry/exit spaces along the triad axis.

Concept

other and this also with each merged to one and past.

Significance

The upcoming generation ought to know about the xenophobic frame of mind which can result into mass persecution of thousands. It showcases how simple answers to complex problems can result in effective responses and illustrates the dangers of prejudice, discrimination and dehumanization. This event becomes a basis and one can co-relate with othersuch occurrence in different countries that led to major uprising.

It also demonstrates the fragility of community where people from the same race but under different jurisdiction and possession can execute their own ones and the aftermath of the brim of oppression one can withstand.

The main aim is to resuscitate the feeling of internment trying to rescue from drowning in the blanket of death. Thus the sculptures connected to one another bulge out of the spherical vacuum. Moreover, the gunmen are holding up the entire mass as they possess the entire control and fate of the sufferers. The overall globular structure with individuals holding to one another conveys a sense of unity and harmony.

In the first instance, the spectator gets a mixed feeling about the horrific past but marvellous piece of art. This enclosed structure expresses strong emotions of captivity and restriction. The contorted framework of victims disorganised reminds and alarms the shameful event which must never reoccurence.

Materiality

The main primary material of the structure is a steel alloy of copper which is meant to depict the Kada (One of the five major K’s in Sikhism). Most of the victims wore this before their last breath so it becomes an integral part of the material in context.

The glossy texture and its highly polished exterior have no visible seams and the surface reflects and distorts the war memorial present next to it. It also reflects the activities of the spectators which make them realise the pain and suffering from their shoes.

Certain portions of the steel structure are layered with corten steel which invites weathering and thus forming of reddish brown rust which portrays the bloody screams of the victims.

Brass has a major influence in Amritsar due to its infamous utensils craft making. Thus the similar is used in the gunmen who possess control over their actions and also bear the entire load of the mannequins
