Banaras Housing Community Housing Project The program aimed to create housing scheme for Vaishnav community in Banaras,Uttar pradesh. The focus of the studio was to study the contextual and cultural dimension of space. Taking into consideration influence of climate on the design of dwelling units, their clusters and building elements. It also takes into account the factor of time and investigates how housing will evolve in future.

PROJECT BRIEF Site

Banaras,Uttar Pradesh Site is situated at 700 m from river Ganga . Immediate context includes market place school, traditional residences. Design problem Site area -5500m2

Heritage Cell Material studio Studio explores a design process which revolves around idea that materials play a major role in design generation. It emphasizes on use of only one Material and understanding its scope and limitation . Material used for this project is stone. The focus of the studio was on the Relationship between materials, details and language of the built form.

DESIGN BRIEF Site

Ahmedabad (Heritage city) ,Gujrat Situated in middle of dense fabric of old city. Site is irregular in shape having historic Teen Darvaza ,Jama mosque and market in context. Design problem

05 Evolutionary Computation Superquadra- Brasilia Architectural evolutionary system based on Genetic Algorithms is a generative tool to apply in terms of adaptive and evolutionary architecture. It is one an approach to lead the kinetic Architectural structures to behave efficiently. It guarantees the fitness of optimization result by seeking for a large amount of possibilities randomly. Site -Superquadra is a 280m square, Six-story slab apartment buildings. Raised on pilots to promote the integration of landscape and architecture
