Welcome This season is full of great shows just waiting to be seen by you! We have a wide array of fantastic family shows - Ballet Theatre UK return with the classic tale of The Little Mermaid, and two other children's favourites, The Jungle Book and Old MacDonald Had a Farm will be brought vividly to life on stage. We also have Postman Pat delivering a fun-filled show and perhaps the jewel in our crown is the return of Horrible Histories, with their brilliant Barmy Britain tour. Morgan and West return to dazzle us with their slight of hand and we have brilliant comedy in the shape of Lee Hurst and Omid Djalili. If music is your passion, then we have some artists that are sure to hit the right note with you! Julian and Jiaxin Lloyd Webber bring a sophisticated evening with their show 'A Tale of Two Cellos', Suggs promises a raucous evening of music and memories from his time leading Madness and Showaddywaddy return with their perfect pop. We also have some fantastic tribute acts performing incredible renditions of David Bowie, Steely Dan, Buddy Holly and many more. We are also pleased to announce the return of the Arts Festival in April, which will offer a chance to see much of the area's local talent as various different arts groups converge upon The Harlequin. As well as our live shows, don’t forget that we will be screening the latest film releases now in digital in The Waller Cinema. You mustn’t touch it though. It can’t be moved, knocked, tilted or opened. Now what can be in THE BOX? Join St Mark’s Players in this absurd comedy to find out. An amateur performance in arrangement with Stagescripts Ltd.
The Whore's Tale by Archie Wilson The Oxted Players Gerald pays a call to Mandy, a prostitute, asking for her to play a special game. However, we quickly find out that neither Mandy nor Gerald are who they seem to be, but then the game is not what we think either. This is a pacey thriller with twists and turns to keep the audience guessing.

SHOWSTOPPERS Friday 4 April at 7.30pm - Tickets: Adults £7, Concs £5 An evening of Music and Theatre at The Harlequin Theatre from four groups of local performers, Epiphany, Reigate School Drama, Horley Singers and The Archway Theatre. The evening will include excerpts from Oliver! an abridged version of Shakespeare’s best known love story, Romeo and Juliet, and a great range of musical items from two talented vocal groups. Epiphany is a group of young performers originally started by two groups of sisters. They sing a varied range of repertoire including musical theatre, modern, gospel and classical. They will be joined for this performance by talented local singers from Reigate and the surrounding areas and will sing a mixture of inspirational and musical theatre songs. For the past two years Reigate School has taken part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival at Leatherhead Theatre. This year's piece was Romeo and Juliet and the students are delighted to be performing this again on a local stage. The Horley Singers sing ‘Songs for Springtime’ and The Archway Theatre will perform excerpts from a recent production of Lionel Bart’s Oliver!

With innovative and exciting physical theatre performances, energetic Irish dance & lindy hop and singing from a group of young, talented singers, it will be a great gala of variety. Orbit Shed Theatre Company is a local charity that runs exciting, high quality, weekly, after school inclusive performing arts workshops with groups for 4-7, 7-11 and 11-17 year olds of all abilities and backgrounds at low cost so everyone can be involved and valued. They focus their performances on physical theatre but offer a wide range of performing arts skills training. The Charisma Girls are a vocal trio who have been singing together for two years. During this time, their performances have raised over £25,000 for charity. The girls; Madeline, Emily and Matilda are very much in demand and as well as performing at an array of different events and venues, they also recorded a rugby anthem for The Harlequins Rugby Union and were awarded the Surrey Young Superstar's Award for their fundraising through performance. Swing Thing are a local lindy hop dancing group who run classes to teach these amazing high energy dances of the forties. They are a not for profit organisation who teach and share their passion for the love of the dance. Bastet School of Dancing has dance classes for boys and girls from walking to adult across a wide range of genres. As well as the more traditional ballet, tap and modern etc, they have classes for more unusual styles such as Greek and Irish so there really is something for everyone. www.bastet.co.uk

Determined to pursue her love on to the shore she makes a bargain with an evil Sea Witch, but it comes at a heavy price. FORCES SWEETHEARTS Thursday 31 July at 2pm Tickets: £11, Groups - buy 10 & get one free Forces Sweethearts has been wowing audiences since 1995 with its unique blend of nostalgia and song. Beryl and Carolyn are our two sweethearts and for 2014 they will be remembering The Great War with a selection from the hit musical Oh What A Lovely War including Pack Up Your Troubles, It’s A Long Way To Tipperary, Goodbyee and Goodbye Dolly Grey. The show will, of course, include all your Forties favourites too – Vera Lynn, Anne Shelton, Marlene Dietrich, Gracie Fields, George Formby and many more. Harlequin Youth Theatre The Harlequin has a vibrant youth theatre with 80 members aged between 8-16 years. Members of each group meet for weekly sessions and each group performs at the end of each term on the main stage at The Harlequin Theatre. The Senior Group also perform at other venues throughout Surrey and in regional youth drama festivals. General Information Box Office Opening Hours Monday - Saturday 10am until 30 minutes after the last show/film screening. Sunday - From 45 minutes/one hour before the first film/show until 30 minutes after the last show/film screening. Please note on Bank Holidays, the building opens one hour prior to a live event or 45 minutes before a film. Reservations Tickets will be held for a maximum of three days or half an hour before the start of the event, whichever is sooner. If payment is not received the tickets will be released for public sale. Refunds and Exchanges Tickets should be checked at the time of purchase. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded unless the show is cancelled. On certain occasions, tickets may be exchanged. There will be a £1.00 per ticket service charge unless an extra ticket is purchased or the value of the new tickets exceeds the value of the old ones. Concessions Discounts are available on cinema/selected shows for the following groups: Children (under 16 years), Senior Citizens (over 60 years), Students (in full time education), Disabled, ES40 holders and those in receipt of benefit. Please bring proof of status. Group and School Bookings Discounts are available for school groups and for parties of ten or more for some of our shows.
