The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is central to the UK government’s ambitious Levelling Up agenda, providing £2.6 billion of new funding for local investment by March 2025

The main aim of the fund is to help boost productivity, pay, jobs and living standards and to restore a sense of community, local pride and belonging.

Harlow College is working with Uttlesford District Council and Harlow Council to provide free places on selected courses. Find out more

You are eligible to apply for a free space on one of our selected courses if you are:

• Aged 19+

• Earning under £35,000 per year (individual, not household income)

• Live in Harlow or Uttlesford

Level 3 Dementia Care

This online course will help you to develop an understanding of caring for individuals with dementia including the types, effects and importance of early diagnosis and the use of medication.

Workforce

The Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.

For adults looking to progress their careers in the aviation industry, looking to change career and work in the industry, or aviation enthusiasts wanting to gain a greater understanding of the industry and how it operates.

This course will enable learners to gain an understanding of elements including children and young people’s development and safeguarding their welfare, and is ideal for those who are interested in working as a teaching assistant or a learning support assistant.
