Man Ray Fashion Show

Leeds Beckett University / Brief: ‘Design an Event’ for an artist and their friends. Base the design around a given postcard of an artist’s painting or sculpture. Design an event around the artist’s approach to their work/their life.

Client: The resources used in this space are a mixture of transparent, translucent and opaque materials. The chance to experiment with silhouettes, lightness and darkness which are elements that are iconic in the Rayographs. When people come to visit this event, it is expected for them to receive the same reaction as if they came to watch one of Man Ray’s films.
