CELEBRATING THEIR 5TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR, THE 2023 EMERGENCE TOURING PROGRAMME FEATURES A NEW COMPANY OF DANCERS AND 3 BRAND NEW WORKS.

International choreographers Alice Klock and Florian Lochner (FLOCK) have created a physically charged and luscious new work that demonstrates the dancers’ technical skill, exploring the idea of how we’re more powerful than we know. Anthony Missen’s (Co-Artistic Director, Company Chameleon) new work captures the raw physicality of the dancers brought to life on stage through their virtuosity and strength as performers. Artistic Director, Joss Arnott, completes the bill with a new work for the full company celebrating the interplay between movement and music, individuality and states of euphoria, all of which is accompanied by an electrifying new percussive musical score by composer James Keane.

Pellow Talk is a chance to learn all about Marti Pellow, not just as a singer and songwriter with Wet Wet Wet, but as a boy and a man. It’s a chance to understand the DNA of the hits that we’ve listened to and loved over the years. The evening will be wrapped in music, from songs you know to ones you’ll get to know.

Spend a hilarious and uplifting evening with renowned British designer, bestselling author and The Great Pottery Throw Down judge, Keith Brymer Jones, as he shares stories of life in front of and behind the potter’s wheel.

Over the years, he has been a ballet dancer, a front man in a nearly famous post-punk band, and a YouTube sensation. However, he is best known as a judge on the hugely popular The Great Pottery Throwdown.

Join us in the Wesley Centre with The Michael Cretu Trio (Ed Barnwell – piano, Myke Wilson – drums, Michael Cretu –double-bass) as they launch their new album Johnny and perform live alongside a screening of Michael’s documentary – a celebration of Roma Musicians and their contribution to European culture from 18th century to present times.
