Joining 16 returning Hawks for the 2021 campaign are 18 newcomers, including 10 true freshmen and a pair of college transfers
CLEAN SWEEP
Rotem Fadida and Darío Cavada started their careers off strong by sweeping all three of the America East’s weekly awards. Fadida earned Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Cavada took home Offensive Player of the Week laurels. Fadida became the first freshman in program history to earn both Rookie and Player of the Week accolades in the same week, and the same season.
LATE GAME HEROICS
Junior Nyrik Antoine, who led the Hawks with three game-winning goals in 2019, finished tied for third in the conference in that category during the 2019 campaign.
BINGHAMTON NOTEBOOK QUICK HIT Binghamton, which had its last game against NJIT get postponed, opened its season with a 2-1 victory against UAlbany on Feb. 26. Noah Luescher scored both goals for the Bearcats on the afternoon. Binghamton was picked to finish ninth in the America East Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

#10 NOAH LUESCHER Luescher was recently named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week. He led the Bearcats with five goals and 12 points in 16 games in 2019.
