SERIES HISTORY Binghamton holds a 37-17 advantage in the all-time series with the Hawks. The Bearcats sport a 16-10 edge in games played in West Hartford, but the Hawks have won two of the last three games played on the Hartford Softball Field.

LAST MEETING Despite the Hawks taking an early 2-1 lead after two innings, Binghamton stormed back and held on for a 5-3 victory, knocking Hartford out of the 2019 America East Playoffs on May 8, 2019. Last season’s contests were cancelled due to COVID-19.

SETTING THE SCENE

The Hartford softball team concludes its 2021 regular season with a three-game series against Binghamton.

SENIOR DAY

The Hawks will honor their graduating class prior to first pitch of Saturday’s game. Kiana Harris, Danielle Rocheleau and Lily Sencer will be honored in a Senior Day ceremony.

QUEEN OF THE PLATE

Rocheleau has been dominant at the plate this season, leading the conference in batting average (.440), while ranking second in slugging (.700) and third in on-base percentage (.472).

BINGHAMTON NOTES QUICK HIT Binghamton enters this weekend’s three-game set with a 9-13 record overall and a 4-10 mark in conference play. The Bearcats split a four-game series against UMass Lowell in their previous outing this past weekend. CLICK HERE TO VIEW ROSTER

#11 MAKAYLA ALVAREZ

Alvarez leads the Binghamton offense, sporting a .353 batting average while tallying 12 runs, 18 hits, three home runs and 12 RBI.

Julianna Kocenski and Emma Curry hit backto-back solo home runs to lead the Hawks. Kocenski went the distance inside the circle, picking up her second win of the year.
