LAST MEETING The Great Danes put the game out of reach early, taking a 16-2 advantage into the halftime break in the two teams’ last meeting, on April 20, 2019. Kaitlyn D’Andrea and 2019 graduate Billy McLaughlin scored two goals apiece to pace Hartford’s offense.

IT’S MILLER TIME

Senior Megan Miller, who joined the Hawks for their inaugural season in 2018, made program history at UMass Lowell last month. Entering the game as the program’s all-time leader in points and assists, she became Hartford’s all-time leading scorer after recording her 29th career goal against the River Hawks.

DEFENSE OF STEELE

Senior Emily Steele is third in the league in turnovers caused, averaging 1.50 per game in 2021. She has been solid on defense throughout her entire career, ranking second in program history after forcing 20 turnovers.

UALBANY NOTEBOOK QUICK HIT Tied with Vermont for second in the league standings, UAlbany boasts the America East’s top offense, averaging 14.50 goals, 7.40 assists and 21.90 points per game. Three of the Great Danes’ four losses have come to ranked opponents in Boston College, Stony Brook and Drexel.
