LAST MEETING Senior Kaitlyn D’Andrea netted a hat trick, but it wasn’t enough as UMass Lowell scored a 19-12 win last month in Lowell. Behind a five-goal run over the final three minutes of the first half, the River Hawks took a 12-7 lead into the break and never looked back.

The Hawks will honor their graduating class prior to Saturday’s opening draw. Kaitlyn D’Andrea, Kylyn Marshall, Megan Miller, Birdie Montes, Debbie Phillips, Jenna Pupillo, Rosie Sconzo, Emily Steele and Abi White, along with team manager Kelly Giebner, will be recognized in a Senior Day ceremony.

All but one of the 10 members of the Hartford Women’s Lacrosse Class of 2021 were freshmen during the program’s inaugural season in 2018. They helped lead the Hawks to their first-ever win in the first game in program history against Delaware State.
