GENERAL MANAGER’S LETTER

The entire staff at the Club is united in adhering to our core values, which we refer to as “promises”.

HARVARD CLUB OF BOSTON PROMISES

Integrity - We will adhere to our ethical code of conduct with the highest of standards.

Communication - We will actively seek and openly exchange information in service to our members and their guests.

Teamwork - We will support each other through cooperative & coordinated efforts at all times.

Accountability - We will accept ownership for everything we say and every action we take.

Attitude - We will maintain an optimistic & positive attitude and see opportunity in every difficulty.

There is no better time to share with you how hard our dedicated staff are supporting each other through teamwork and a positive attitude. We held our annual Employee Appreciation Celebration several weeks ago and the focus was Attitude. We know that we are “on stage” every day and need to “bring a positive attitude” in everything we do.

We look forward to bringing this positive attitude to you during the upcoming busy season which includes Red Sox home games, Easter Brunch, The Boston Marathon, Mother’s Day. Graduation and so many other member events both in person and virtually. We will also continue to provide exceptional service throughout our clubhouse. Through six months of our fiscal year, financial performance as been fantastic and member usage in dining and events is flourishing.

Please feel free to contact me directly at scummings@harvardclub.com or 617-450-8400 if I can be of service to you!

Sincerely,

Steven P. Cummings

CCM, CCE General Manager

Governor Maura Healey ’92 Charms & Impresses HCB Members

On March 28th, in front of more than 200 members inside Harvard Hall, Governor Maura Healey '92 was honored at HCB and participated in an informative, entertaining and engaging fireside chat. Governor Healey had her name permanently inscribed inside the Massachusetts Room alongside some of the most important leaders in the history of the United States. This groundbreaking event to celebrate one of Harvard's own student-athletes led to many members having the opportunity to meet the Governor and listen to her inspiring story and vision that brought from Harvard Yard to the State House. Later this month we will be making the fireside chat available on the HCB website for those who were unable to attend.
