Our culinary team is helping our members live their best lives through a plant-based culinary journey. Our March Chef’s Dinner will feature a four-course vegan meal that was created by Chef Adam Burnham. Over the course of the evening experience in the Veritas Wine Room, you will hear behind-the-scenes stories about how vegan meals are made and also have a chance to connect with fellow HCB members who enjoy the benefits of vegan cuisine. Since John Quincy Adams was elected to serve as the Harvard Alumni Association President in 1840 to the current Harvard Alumni Association President, Allyson Mendenhall AB ’90, MLA ’99, 14 women have led the Harvard Alumni Association as President. Join 11 of the Women Presidents of the HAA as they share their stories about their respective pathways to leadership, their most memorable Harvard moments as the HAA’s President, and what it’s like to lead the Harvard Alumni Association.

Gather with fellow members to hear directly from Harvard alum Jonathan Darman '03 who is an acclaimed author and journalist. Darman's new book, Becoming FDR: The Personal Crisis that Made a President, tells the story of the years of personal struggle that remade Franklin Roosevelt’s character, creating a compassionate and transformational leader.

Darman is a historian who writes about American politics and the presidency. As a former national political correspondent for Newsweek, Darman covered the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Mitt Romney and wrote extensively about other major figures in national politics and media.

Intro to Pickleball!

Whether you have played pickleball before or are looking to find out what it's all about, we invite you to attend an evening with fellow members. Sharon Bradey will lead instruction to get you started on your pickleball journey.

This introductory night will give players a chance to receive free instruction on how to play (i.e. hitting, scoring, etc.), a brief introduction to the sport and the facility, and then you will be able to jump on the court for a friendly singles or doubles match against fellow HCB members.

Orwell's Roses Impact on Society

Our Public Policy Book Club will take a reflective look at Rebecca Solnit’s book Orwell’s Roses which is a blend of biography, memoir, and meditative essay. In her latest book, Solnit explores the life and legacy of English writer George Orwell. Her discovery that Orwell planted roses in 1936 at his cottage in Wallington, England, led her to take a deeper dive into his work, highlighting his love of nature, his attachment to beauty, and his commitment to social justice and political transparency. Please note that our book clubs are discussion based only with no author appearances.

We will be streaming Harvard Baseball vs FAU at 6:30pm and the Harvard Men’s Hockey ECAC Quarterfinal showdown at 7:00pm. Along with a full bar and $8 beer flights, we will be serving Chef’s Choice pub bites until 8:00pm. No need to register... just show up and be ready to have fun!
