How to open an affiliate account with JAFX First things first, if you haven’t already, you need to open an affiliate account with JAFX so that you can be credited with the referrals you make as well as gaining access to the marketing tools which they provide. Go to the following page https://www.jafx.com/jafx-affiliate-press-kit and click on the link to open an affiliate account with JAFX.
It is then just a matter of filling in the application form and waiting for up to 30 minutes for your affiliate link to be generated. You then just need to visit the following page: https://portal.jafx.com/IntroducingBroker/Profile/Marketing Click on the ‘Profile’ tab and then the ‘Marketing’ tab and you will be presented with your affiliate link. NOTE: It can take up to 30 minutes after sign-up to see your affiliate link in your dashboard.

Methods of Promotion As you can probably imagine, there are lots of highly lucrative methods of promoting your JAFX affiliate link. The vast majority of these methods won’t cost you a penny whereas there are a few methods which will require an investment. The choice is yours, but you will find detailed instructions in the following pages which will allow you to quickly and easily drive traffic to your JAFX affiliate link and start earning money. You can use one method or all of them, but it is advisable that you master one at a time before you move on to the next one. It is highly advisable that once you decide to get started, you stick with it. You will find that some of the methods will result in almost instant traffic whilst some of the other methods may take a little longer. Once a potential client has clicked on your affiliate link and opened an account with JAFX.com, you will be credited as the referrer and you can then sit back whilst we do the rest. So, without further ado, let’s get started on the affiliate marketing methods which could very well turn into an extremely lucrative opportunity for you.

Offline Marketing Let’s start with an offline marketing method to promote your JAFX affiliate link which will require a small investment but can be remarkably effective. To start with you will need to register a domain name which is related to the services which are available with through JAFX, Forex or Crypto trading for example. This domain name can also be used for an online promotion method which we will talk about later but for now, let’s concentrate on this offline method. If you are struggling to think of a domain name, use the free tool which can be found at www.nameboy.com.
Simply insert a trading related word into the search box and nameboy will present you will a list of domain names which are available to register.
When you have decided on a domain name, don’t use Nameboy as the registrar. We are going to use Godaddy.com to register the domain but before you do, go over to google and search for ‘GoDaddy discount code’. You will be presented with a results page which is full of companies offering discounts on GoDaddy domain names. The search results are constantly being updated but here is an example where you can register a .com domain name for under one dollar.

It is then just a matter of going to Godaddy.com and registering the domain name which you found by using Nameboy. When going through the process of purchasing the domain name with GoDaddy you will be constantly prompted to add extras to the order such as the same name but with different suffixes or various privacy options. You don’t need any extras at all, just your original choice of domain name. When you get to the stage where a payment needs to be made you will see a box in which to enter the promo code.
Click on that link, enter the promo code which you found from your Google search and you should be able to purchase your domain name for under a dollar. When you have registered the domain you will be able to go into the GoDaddy dashboard and make the following changes.

Click on ‘connect to an existing site’ icon and you will be directed to the following page.
If the ‘Forward to any site’ box, paste in your JAFX affiliate link and click ‘save’. What will now happen is that when anyone puts your domain name in their browser they will be directed to the JAFX website and if they open an account and start trading, you will receive commissions. As this is an offline method, the next step is to go to Vistaprint and order some business cards.
You can carry out a similar search on Google for ‘Vistaprint discount’ as there are usually deals available, but it is just a case of ordering the basic choice of business cards (nothing fancy is required) and you will be able to get around 200 printed for under a tenner. Include your domain name on the card and simply give them out in the same way that you would when giving out a business card for your regular business or when you are sharing your contact information. Business cards are often saved by the recipient and you will probably be surprised by the amount of people who will enter your domain into their browser to find out more about whatever it is you are promoting.

Twitter Everyone seems to be talking about Twitter these days, so it stands to sense that it is one of the methods you could be using to generate traffic to your JAFX affiliate link. If you don’t have a Twitter account, it is free and very simple to set up. Go to Twitter.com and fill in your details.
Once you have everything set up, the next step is to get some people to follow you so that you can promote your affiliate link. The best way to get people to follow you is to follow them first and the unwritten law of reciprocation will mean that a high percentage of people who you follow, will follow you back. To do this, go to the Twitter search box in the top right-hand corner of the Home page.

Search for a subject (forex or crypto trading for example) or a person who you know has the same interests and you will see how many followers they have.
Click on the ‘Followers’ tab and you will be presented a list of people who are following this person.
The maximum amount of people you can follow in a day is 1000 but 100 per day over a few days is enough to get you started. In the meantime, start to send out tweets (max 140 characters) but try and make them a little informative as opposed to just advising people to open an account with JAFX. If you see an interesting news item for instance, tweet a link to it of if you see an interesting tweet, retweet it. It is quite acceptable to tweet an affiliate link on Twitter and you will find that as your Twitter reputation grows, the better the response will be in terms of the number of times your followers click on the link in order to find out more.

There are tools available which enable you to run your Twitter account like a welloiled machine but for now, keeping to the basics should pay dividends as long as you are constant with sending out your tweets.

Forum Posting If you already have an active interest in trading, the chances are that you will already contribute to related forums or at least read them on a regular basis. If you are looking for active forums to participate in, why not put your Twitter account to good use and send out a tweet asking if anyone can give you any recommendations with regards to trading forums. Another option is to try a simple Google search.
The golden rule when posting on any forum is not to jump straight in and start promoting something. If you do, at best you will be ignored, at worst you will be kicked of the forum and told never to darken their doors again! The best way is always to establish yourself on a forum by giving out friendly and helpful advice. It could be that someone has just started trading and is asking very basic questions which most forum members are ignoring. If you go out of your way to lend a hand you may find that you will be the first person they listen to when they ask for recommendations as to which broker to open an account with. Most forums have a private message (pm) facility which is another method you can use to recommend JAFX once your forum reputation allows you to do so.

Personal Facebook Account
The chances are you will already have a Facebook account but if you haven’t because you think that it is just something which only appeals to teenagers, think again! If you haven’t got a Facebook account, opening one is quick, easy and free! Using your personal Facebook account to promote JAFX will work best if you are actually using the platform to trade on. The thing to remember with Facebook is to be yourself. Talk about your life, your experiences and your trading journey and your Facebook friends will be interested in what you have to say. Spend some time reading other peoples posts and comments and feel free to either follow them or send them a friend request. You will see the option to like or comment on any post that you read so again, feel free to do either.
Whether you love or loathe Facebook, the algorithms they use will result in them constantly suggesting people for you to connect with based on the content that you post the people as well you have connected with. As with anything in life, the more you put in, the more you will get out and a good example of this would be if you wrote a highly informative and helpful post on Facebook. If your friends like what they read, they will hit the ‘like’ button and this will mean that their own friend will also see your post. If they like what they read they will send you friend requests or follow you and before you know it, your reach will be in the thousands. Using Facebook to promote your affiliate link can prove to be extremely lucrative as long as you put the ground work in first.

Blogging Setting up a blog and making posts of a regular basis is another method which you can use in order to drive traffic to your affiliate link. As we are looking at free marketing options at the moment, we will start by looking at starting a free blog with Blogger.com. You just need to go to Blogger.com, choose the option to create a new blog and choose the template which you would like to use as well as a title for your blog. In the ‘Address’ box you will need to put in a forex or crypto related title and you will be told if that address is available or not. If it is, it will look something like forextradingjourney.blogspot.com
All you need to do is click the ‘create blog’ button and away you go. If you are an active trader an idea could be to set up a trading diary on your blog. You could write down your thoughts on a regular basis, so your views can read about your experiences.

It is especially easy post content on your blog and then add an affiliate link to JAFX. All you need to do is click on the ‘new post’ link at the top of Blogger.com and you will be presented with a text box.
Write your blog post and highlight the text you wish to use as your affiliate link. Click on the ‘Link’ tab and a box will appear where you can insert your affiliate link. The highlighted text will be come highlighted so that when the reader clicks on it they will arrive at the JAFX website.
To make the most of the blogging method you will need to blog on a regular basis but providing you blog posts are informative it is quite possible to gain a decent size following which could prove to be extremely lucrative over the months and years ahead. As the URL for your blog will be something with blogspot at the end of it, there is always the option for you to register a specific domain name and point it to your Blogger blog. This is always a good idea because it means that you will have more control over your blog and to do this, just go back to the steps we took earlier when registering a domain name with GoDaddy but instead of pointing the domain name to the affiliate link, it will point directly to your Blogger blog.

Quora If you are not familiar with Quora.com now would probably be as better time as any to get involved.
It is basically a question and answer website where you can ask and answer questions and as it is one of the largest websites in the world, you can probably imagine how profitable it can be when driving traffic to your affiliate link. You do have to be careful though so let’s take a look at the steps you will need to take in order to use Quora to your advantage. To begin with you will need to open an account and you can do that with the Facebook account that you have just opened.
You will be presented with a number of choices as to what your interests are, and this will determine the content you see when you log into your account. As with some of the other promotional methods that we have spoken about, it is a good idea to get involved and start answering some questions as well as asking some in order to gain advice. Spend some time reading the type of questions that are asked about trading but try to think out of the box a little bit.

For example, you will see many questions about cryptocurrencies with people asking how high Bitcoin could go for example. You could give an answer about the volatility of Bitcoin and why there will be many peaks and troughs on its way to $30000. To take advantage of these trading patterns you would rather trade the price of Bitcoin as opposed to holding it and you have found a reputable broker who allows you to do this. Then, instead of including an affiliate link as such, you could include the domain name you registered earlier to direct to your affiliate link. If you jump straight in and include an affiliate link without any informative content as to your reasoning, your answer will probably be deleted.

If you are not familiar with Reddit it can simply be described as a platform where people share interesting things. When content is shared it either gets upvoted or downvoted by members of the community. As content gets upvoted it moved to the Hot page and this is when potentially thousands of people can see that particular piece of content. There are smaller sub communities which are known as subreddits, so a piece of content could get on the front page of a subreddit or if it is particularly good, on the front page of the whole site. Before you even think about promoting your JAFX affiliate link on Reddit you have to be aware that if you are not offering value to the community, your post will be downvoted. It is just not worth the time or effort to post some substandard content because as it will get immediately downvoted, hardly anyone will see it. The way to go about posting on Reddit is to look for subreddits on subjects which are related to forex trading or crypto trading. Think out of the box when doing this, look for subreddits on other brokers or subjects related to trading such as mindset. There is also an unwritten rule on Reddit which says that only 10% of the content that you put up should in any way be of a promotional nature. Once a post gets more than 5 upvotes the Reddit algorithm takes over and the number of views starts to rise. The rule is that you can’t ask in your post for people to upvote it, but you can either ask your friends or put link on Facebook to ask for upvotes. Once one of these posts takes off you can be sure that a percentage of Redditeers will click on your affiliate link which could result in some nice commissions for you.

YouTube
You may be surprised to learn that YouTube is used by many people as a search engine. Think about it, search for any term on YouTube and the chances are you will find a detailed video about it. Many people make the mistake in thinking that they have to be do the following in order to make money from YouTube videos.
You have to possess the movie making skills of Steven Spielberg
You have to appear on the videos yourself (even if you have a face more suited for the radio!)
Neither of these are true and you don’t even need to own any sophisticated camera equipment. You can even get started with free software which comes with your PC or laptop. Earlier versions of Windows allow you to use the MovieMaker application to make videos but if you have Windows 10 you will need to download alternative software. A simple Goggle search for ‘Free alternatives to MovieMaker’ will uncover some alternatives for you. As for promoting your JAFX affiliate link through video, you will need to either talk about the markets or set up a simple PowerPoint presentation with yourself talking over the slides. At the end of the presentation you could say how impressed you are with the Forex Broker you are using and that you have put a link in the comments below the video. When you have made the video, you will need to save it to your computer and then you need to click on the grey arrow in the top right-hand corner of your YouTube account.
If you don’t have an account with YouTube, just go to YouTube.com and follow the instructions. It is free to open an account.

You will then be taken to a page where you select the files to upload or drag and drop the video file and make sure that the drop down menu underneath this is set to ‘public’.
Select the video that you'd like to upload from your computer. You can also import a video from Google Photos.
As the video is uploading, you can edit both the basic information and the advanced settings of the video and decide if you want to notify subscribers (if you untick this option, no communication will be shared with your subscribers). You can have a title of up to 100 characters and a description of up to 5,000 characters.
Click Publish to finish uploading a public video to YouTube.
Once the upload is complete, you will receive an email to notify you that your video has finished uploading and processing. You can then forward that email to friends or family to share your video easily. When the video has been uploaded you can add your affiliate link in the box where you are invited to write a description of the video. It should be worth noting at this point that it might be a good idea to shorten your JAFX affiliate link before placing it in the description of your YouTube video. This is extremely easy to do and not at all technical. Just go to https://bitly.com/ Copy and paste you JAFX affiliate link into the search box on the bitly.com website and click on the ‘Shorten’ button.

This will basically generate a shorter link which will still direct to the JAFX website and will contain your affiliate details, so that any business generated from those that click on the link will be credited to you. An alternative to making the videos yourself There is no getting away from the fact that affiliate marketing through YouTube can be extremely lucrative but for whatever reason, you may not want to make the videos yourself. If you can relate to this, don’t worry because there is a cheap alternative: Fiverr.com
If you have not come across Fiverr before you are in for a treat because you won’t believe the kind of jobs you can get done on there. When Fiverr started up a few years ago, every job on there used to be $5 but now, due to various upsells you can expect to pay more but it is still a place to get quality jobs done for you at a very low price. In this case, videos for YouTube which you can use to promote your JAFX affiliate link. You will need to open an account with Fiverr which is quick and easy to do and then carry out a few searches for ‘you tube videos’ or ‘videos’ and you will be spoiled for choice from the gigs that are available.

You will see that there is a big difference in prices but if you spend time looking you will be able to get set up for around a tenner. A word of warning though. Stick to the job in hand if you are looking for someone to make you videos on Fiverr. If you are not careful you will get sucked in by looking at some of the more peculiar gigs that are advertised on there and before you know it, you will have wasted a couple of hours!

Press releases A press release is simply a piece of content which is distributed to the various search engines and news channels in the hope that the content gets picked up and published. A press release is often used for business promotion, so you could use this as a form of promotion for your JAFX affiliate link. You have two choices with a press release, either write it and release it yourself or pay someone else to do it for you. If you want to do it yourself there is a free option which is worth investigating at http://www.free-press-release.com/ It is very easy to set up, just go to the website and you will see that there are three steps, ‘Create’, ‘Distribute’ and ‘Report’.
One of the most parts of a press release is the actual writing but the ‘Create’ section of this website shows you exactly how a compelling press release should be written.
The next step is to choose which level of distribution you require.

As you can see, there is a free version which will get you indexed on the major search engines. When the press release has been sent out you will be able to see various stats such as how many times links have been clicked but viewing the ‘Report’ section of the website. If you are interested in going one step further and paying for a press release, www.presswire.com have a superb reputation and if comparison to their rivals, are quite reasonable, price wise.

Start a Facebook Group
The chances are you are already a member of various Facebook groups, but have you ever considered starting your own group and using it to generate affiliate sales to your JAFX account? It will help if you have an interest in trading as you will be able to share your experience as well as your trading journey and before you know it, you could have a thriving Facebook group on your hands. Starting up a Facebook group is quick and easy to do, and you can have your first group up and running within the hour. First things first, log into your Facebook account and on the left-hand side of your Facebook page, click on ‘Groups’.
You will then be taken to a ‘Groups’ page and in the top right-hand corner you will see a green ‘Create Group’ button which you should click on.
You will then see a pop up box where you will name your group, add people you know to the group and decided if you want to make the group public or private.

Don’t over think the name, anything relating to Forex or financial trading will do and in the ‘add some people’ box, just add anyone who you think might be interested the subject of the group. The privacy of the group can be changed at any time, so it would be a good idea, once you have a few members in your group to ask if the would prefer the group to be public or private. It is then just a case of adding content to the group on a regular basis and helpfully replying to other people’s posts. Encourage other members to invite their friends to the group and it is not unusual, if the information shared on the group is of a high quality, for the group to grow in size over a pretty short space of time. You will then find yourself in the position of having an interested audience to share your affiliate link with. As with most things in life, your success in using this method will depend on the amount of work you put into it but it could prove to be extremely lucrative to you.

Email Marketing If you have been involved with internet marketing for any length of time you will be well aware of the saying, ‘the money is in the list’. Many newcomers to internet marketing have difficulty in understanding this but having a list of people who are interested in the subject that you are talking about is an extremely valuable asset. Before we start looking at how to grow a list of your own it is important that we look at how to set up a system so that people give you their email address and then their permission for you to send emails to them on a regular basis. To do this you need what is called an autoresponder. There are lots of autoresponders on the market, some come with a trial period and then a monthly fee but the one we are going to look at today is a little different in that it is free for your first 2000 subscribers and you are able to send 12000 emails per month. This is more than adequate for now and will enable you to build up a good-sized list without having to pay a monthly fee.
It is simply a matter of signing up and choosing the ‘New Business’ plan. When you have signed into your account you will need to click on the campaigns tab.

and then the ‘Create a Campaign’ button on the right-hand side of the page.
You will then be directed to a page which will invite you to create an email. The instructions which Mailchimp gives are first class so it is just a case of following along with what they tell you to do, and don’t worry, it is very straight forward!

The hardest aspect of email marketing is writing the emails to send out to your list because they need to both inform and, in many cases, offer a call to action so that your subscribers will follow the recommendations that have been given to them. If you want to write the emails yourself, no problem, but if you take a look at the JAFX affiliate press kit, https://www.jafx.com/jafx-affiliate-press-kit/ you will see that there are expertly written emails ready for you to send to your list. Just scroll down the page and you will see the link to download the email swipes package.
I Important Before you load any emails into your autoresponder to send out to your list, make sure that you add your affiliate link. It sounds obvious but when you are doing this for the first time it can be easy to forget. Use Bit.ly to shorten your affiliate link (we spoke about this earlier).

If you go through the Mailchimp tutorials you will be shown how to quickly set up an opt in form which will enable new subscribers to sign up to your list. You can then use your blog, Facebook group and many of the other methods we have spoken about to collect email addresses. As long as you don’t promote in every email that you send out and you also give friendly and helpful advice, you will find that your mailing list will be an asset which you can make money from over the months and years ahead.

Banner Advertising Banner advertising is another form of driving traffic to your affiliate link and if you go to the JAFX affiliate press kit you will see that there is a selection of well designed banners for you to use.
Add a banner to your blog or website you will need to follow these steps. For explanation purposes, we will use the Blogger platform which we spoke about earlier. First you will need to click on your preferred banner and download it to your computer.

Choose the size of the banner you require.
When you have clicked on the banner size you will need to save a copy to your computer.
