Jimmie Cefalo - Cefalo played in one of the most famous games in NFL history: the AFC divisional playoff game between the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins on January 2, 1982 at the Orange Bowl. The Pro Football Hall of Fame named it the "NFL's Game of the '80s."

Joe Rose - Rose is best known for catching Hall of Famer Dan Marino's first ever touchdown pass in 1983. His career statistics were 112 receptions, for 1493 yards with 13 touchdown receptions.

John Offerdahl - Offerdahl was the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the year in 1986 and earned five trips to the Pro Bowl (1986-90).

Kim Bokamper - Bokamper was a member of the Dolphins Killer B’s defense of the early 1980s and was a Pro Bowler in 1979.

Tony Nathan - Nathan was inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame in 2006. He finished his nine NFL seasons with 3,543 yards rushing, 383 receptions for 3,592 yards, and 32 touchdowns (16 each rushing and receiving). He also completed four of eight passes for 61 yards and a touchdown

Super Bowl Rewind Show – We’re going back in time to 1972, to see how this relatively new team overcame all the odds to win every game on their way to the championship. It’s a feat that hasn’t been done since, so you’re going to want to see it for yourself.

Q and A’s with Miami Dolphins Legends –Have questions about the Miami Dolphins, their 1972 game, or just football in general? This session is the time to ask and get answers from the professionals who play for a living. They’ll break down everything they know for the audience.

Nassau Beach Party – Our third day at sea will include an all-day beach party at none other than the capital of the Bahamas. The beaches at Nassau are beyond gorgeous and the weather is always perfect, making it ideal for dancing, games, and music. Going to the beach was already fun, but a beach party magnifies the experience.

Activities and Competitions

While the Miami Dolphins Legends are on-board, become a champion yourself with the many competitions being held on the decks of the Seascape. Defeat your friends in a round of a karaoke singing competition, show off your moves at the dance-off, test your football knowledge with a trivia showdown, or express yourself in the Seascape talent show. Join in on the fun and bring home the gold. Everything is free to join and may come with prizes. Even if all you want is to participate, the fun you’ll have will last a lifetime!

Quarterback competition – Think you have what it takes to be a quarterback? Put your coordination and skills to the test in this football challenge. Whether you’re competing against your friends or aiming to be best on the Seascape, it’s guaranteed to be a fun time.

Dance competition – Get down and funky at our dance contest. Winners are selected by audience scores, so give us your best moves and win everyone over with your unique style.

Karaoke – Loosen up, let your inner performer out, and step onto the stage for Karaoke night. Anyone’s welcome to sing their favorite song, so have fun and dance the night away with the Miami Dolphin Legends!

Tribute to Coach

Don Shula

It was the Miami Dolphins’ 7th year as a team, a lucky number that certainly defined the season. The stars aligned for this relatively new team, bringing together some of the best players, and one of the greatest coaches in all of NFL history.

The Dolphins had only won fifteen games in four seasons before Don Shula was made coach of the team. With his efficiency, discipline, and knowledge of his players and the game, the Miami Dolphins went on to achieve the first and only loss-free season in the NFL. It’s a season that shows what’s possible in football, and to this day, coaches and players from every team look to the Dolphins and aspire to this level of greatness.

Tribute to the 1972 Dolphins

Things didn’t always look good for the Dolphins that year. Just five weeks into the season, starting quarterback Bob Griese broke his ankle, leaving the backup Earl Morrall to take over for the remainder of the regular season. But this never stopped the team or made them any less ambitious. Morrall proved to be an effective quarterback, keeping control of the ball when it was in their possession. Running backs Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris each rushed over 1,000 yards in the season. Offensives Jim Langer and Larry Little would both go on to become NFL Hall of Famers, and every other member of the team gave 110% to the game. Coupled with one of the strongest defenses in the season, and the Dolphins proved to be unstoppable.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this miraculous season, tribute events will be held on the Seascape for both the season, the players, the coach, and the fans who made this all possible. With the Miami Dolphin Legends with us, there will never be another chance to be a part of this type of celebration.

No other team has been through higher victories or lower losses than a lifelong Dolphin fan, but every part of our history is a reason to celebrate!
