How to Play Ping Pong? Ping-Pong, also known as Table Tennis, is, just as the name suggests, to put it simply a table version of tennis. It can be played either by yourself or with a partner. This game is, in my opinion, very addicting if you play with people either at or above your level. This article will go over all the basic rules of playing Ping-Pong as well as go over some techniques you can use in actual competition. This version of PingPong is for non-competition use so the rules won't be as strict. For the Complete Article: Click Here

How to Play Ping Pong? 1) Either play by yourself or get a partner to play either 1vs1 or 2vs2. The rules won't differ, just the rotation of the serves. To make it simple, we will go with 1vs1. 2) You can use any method to figure out who's going to go first. After you choose someone to go first, that person will serve. Serve by tossing the ball a little and hitting it. The ball must bounce once on your side and then go over and hit the opponent's side at least once for it to be considered a legal serve. If it hits the net but still makes it across, that serve is considered a "let" and you will have to redo the serve. You can have as many lets as you want in the game. 3) After the server hits the ball, the opponent will return it. For it to be considered a legal return, you will have to hit the ball over the net without it touching your side of the court. This continues to go on until one person can't get the ball over the net or hits it off the court. The point is then awarded to the opposing player. 4) Usually, games are held until someone reaches 11 points. If both players reach 10 points, then you can only win by a "win-by-2" rule. For example, if both of you had 10 points, then you would need to score 2 more points before your opponent scores one, making it 12 to 10. 5) There are many ways to get points. From a hitting standpoint, after the serve, as long as the ball ends up on the other side's court without touching your side of the court, it is considered a point. As for serves, you can either hit the ball with a top spin or a slice to make the ball go in different directions with different bounces after the ball hits the court.
