A smaller entry today topping at £1500 A very mixed quality today, which resulted in a steadier trade, a small entry forward today and generally a similar type of animal, smaller and immature. Leading the days trade was a sweet baby heifer from Malcolm Jones of Middleton, which sold for £1500, a fresh calved commercial heifer which sold to R D &A Roe of Gnosall, selling for £1450 was another sweet cow making heifer from the same home, this heifer yielding 26kg daily 8 days fresh was sold to P & R Fenton, of Rildey, Tarporley. British Fresien heifers were keenly sought after today selling to £1300 for Malcolm Jones, purchased by Messrs Roe. Cows sold to £1230 for a third calver from David Rees Farms, Dalebank Inez 262nd (GP83) was yielding 35kg daily, she was purchased by Paul and Becky Fenton of Rildey.
