I work with sketching and construction of both analog and digital character on a secure and skilled level. Professionally I operate in a field that lies between architect and engineer. In reality this means that I design architecture that takes the technical aspects such as material quality, indoor climate and energy optimization into account during the design process, and how these are used actively in the design, to obtain an complete project which incorporates the technical solutions as aesthetic solutions in the architecture. Professionally, I am energetic, detail proven and creative. It takes a lot before I am pleased with myself and my work. I do not take any shortcut to achieve a quick result, that I am not happy with. I have the gumption and ambition on my own behalf, but I always put the project before myself. I am motivated by academic development, and through various study trips with the studio and on my own in particular China, Italy, Germany and London, i have expanded my horizons in architecture, which i use everyday when designing architecture.

GODSBANEAREALET 8. SEMESTER

The focus of this project was to create quality housing that met the energy requirements for a passive-house. The site were of great impotrance as it is a secnificant area in the inner city of Aalborg with great history to what Aalborg once were - a working town - therefore it was also important that the biuldings expressed an awareness of the spirit and history of the site . The site is placed on the border between high builidings and open-low urban areas by the freight railway. This contrast has been used in the design as the building sloapes from high to low with as semi-privat courtyard The typical block form was customized to the eadges of project site, to optimize the courtyard within. Subsequently, the block adapted to the sun by differentiating the height, so it is the highest point in the northeast corner while the lowest is in the southwest is thereby an optimal solar radiation. 3D model is made in Rhino by me.

LIVING BRIDGE 7. SEMESTER

“The Living Bridge” is a tectonic project which main focus is on the relationship between materials, assemblies and construction. The project site was the Limfjord in front of the new music house at Aalborg’s waterfront and across from the Aalborg technical management of the municipality which is located in Nørresundby. “The Living Bridge” was designed with the set plans for Aalborg’s new waterfront as a base context. With all the new projects, it was important that the bridge took the future shapes, materials and scales that will occur in the area into consideration. The main idea with the bridge was to create a different and more appealing connection between Aalborg and Nørresundby for the vulnerable road user. The aim was to make at connection that would be more comfortable for the users to walk on than the existing crossing at Limfjordsbroen which is cold and unfortable as it is today. This was done by creating more life in the form of restaurants and shops that runs inside the bridge. It is possible to move both on top of the arches and underneath. The 3D model and visualisation is made in Grasshopper by a fellow student and me.
