Svetlana/Kamui is an internationally acclaimed costume and content creator, author, teacher and YouTuber from Germany. With over 18 years of experience and a never ending thirst to start the next project, she and her husband Benni have already created many award winning costumes and published a long running series of popular instructional books, video tutorials and crafting patterns for home printing. Kamui loves to share her knowledge, techniques and experience with the world and always finds new ways to help out newcomers and cosplay veterans alike. Her funny and inspiring Social Media content is followed by more than 1.5 million people from all over the world. In addition, the Kamui Cosplay Community is one of the largest crafting groups on FB with over
16.000 creative and passionate members, always ready to give others a helping hand and good advice. Kamui is widely known and well respected for the support the gives to the community every day. She’s a popular cosplay guest at conventions and events worldwide, running workshops, Q&As and crafting panels but at the end of the day, she just does what she always did, building stuff she enjoys and helping others.

STEAMPUNK CHARACTER CREATION WITH GARETH WARD Multiple award-winning author and steampunk aficionado Gareth Ward is the master when it comes to creating characters and personas. This is the session for you, whether you are an aspiring or seasoned steampunk-er, a beginner writer or talented with the quill. Bring along your character creation questions, hardly any question is too wacky for the Great Wardini himself.

MAKING COMICS (FOR FUN AND PROFIT!) Do you dream of writing or drawing comics but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’re already halfway through that epic graphic novel? Whatever your level of experience or skill (from “Master Artist” to “I can’t draw”), if you want to make comics this workshop is for you! We’ll look at what’s involved in telling stories with pictures and help you unlock your own unique cartooning voice. Bring some paper and pencils (or else pens, crayons, iPad, etc) and a willingness to have a go. Dylan Horrocks has been writing and drawing comics, graphic novels, cartoons, and prose fiction for more than 30 years, including Hicksville, Sam Zabel & the Magic Pen, Batgirl, and Hunter: the Age of Magic. His work has been published around the world in various languages and won the Eisner Award and the Sir Julius Vogel award, among others. He currently lives in Wellington, where he teaches comics and visual narrative at the Victoria University of Wellington School of Design Innovation and is drawing a graphic novel about fantasy roleplaying games.

WARHAMMER: AGE OF SIGMAR EXHIBITION Warhammer: Age of Sigmar is a tabletop wargame played with small scale fantasy miniatures. Games are played on a flat surface with various terrain features, simulating a real battlefield. Part of the game is ‘the hobby’ which covers assembling and painting the miniatures.
