breathe THE MEMORIAL FOR WAGON TRAGEDY INCIDENT
The Wagon Tragedy
The project is to reconstruct the wagon tragedy memorial and bus stop at valluvambram junction kerala,india.
Wagon tragedy occured in 1921 when a group of indian freedom fighter prisoners were sent from tirur to coimbatore by bundling them in a wagon of a train. 69 prisoners died due to suffocation. The wagon was bundled with the prisoners and made sure every small hole was closed while the exterior was painted, and all openings being closed ,made a feeling that the wagon is new, calm and quiet .
Concept The design will symbolically represent the character of the wagon. Calm and beautiful outside, dark and harsh inside. The people have to feel the suffering of the souls that died in the tragedy through this design.

the bus stop and gallery are zoned with different entries and with no direct proximities to ensure the smooth functioning of both.

A RIVERVIEW RESIDENCE
The project was to design a residence for an Architect - Fashion Designer couple and their two children. The main requirement was a studio for the architect and wide open spaces with enough sunlight and ventilation.

Design The spaces are climate and context sensitive and gives enough natural light and ventilation throughout the house. The curved glass wall on the west side of the bedroom utilises the context to provide a beautiful view of the chaliyar river. It uses glass and french windows to let the natural light to get into the space. The Bedroom uses curved curtain walls which provides a 1800 view to the river. first floor
The western view It faces towards the river providing a view of the chaliyar river .
an artificial pond provides a cooling effect to the environment and gives an aesthetic beauty to the landscape
the two green spaces inside the house provideing natural light and ventilation with the light and shadow effects from the pergolas.
Concept The idea was to bring in the natural light into the building in different ways and provide direct sunlight to all bedrooms and the studio. The masterbed on east side gets the morning sunlight and the western bedrooms gets the evening sunlight. The master bedroom faces towards the forest side and the filtered morning light passing through the trees and gets into the bedroom directly.
The Architect’s Studio. The studio gets a spacious and peaceful environment with the glass windows providing views to all three sides and the glass doors opened to the balcony .

AN ARABIAN RESTAURANT
An arabian restaurant design at malappuram, which will act as an evening gathering space to the people . It provides a pleasant environment and a good view because of its symetrical and islamic style architecture.
Concept The concept is “TAWHID�. It means to bring the concept of unity into the design. The main idea is to bring together the people of the city together for having a peaceful time to spend . To support that idea, the restaurant space is open for everyone and the beautiful green space around the restaurant will make it more peaceful .
Design The design is inspired from honeycomb structure and the spaces are divided into four hexagonal cells which have different functions. To support the concept ,the design uses islamic style elements such as jalies,domes and arches. It also uses mosaic and geometric patterns on floor and ceiling.
