¿why Hatillo 8? Satellite city model established in Hatillo took influence from the old English New Town model, that raised independent human settlements where basic services and all needs could be supply inside but directly connected with the labor sector of the major city. Hatillo 8 its chosen because of the importance of his avenues, cause they foster human relationships which in many ways helps define a strong community spirit that can be seen for example, in many rural areas, most of them isolated from big cities. This neighbouring encounters leads to the creation of human interrelationships which at the end, affect the nature of housing. The avenues among houses behave as voids that channel social cohesion and common good along the whole area.

Hatillo 8 was built by the “Instituto Nacional de Vivienda y Urbanismo (INVU) conceived as projects of social interest. The idea was to create horizontal row houses with the English concept of Garden-city but in this case, it should worked in a small satellite city. Despite of the increasing growth of the occupants per dwelling, these houses have suffered many changes that not only has disrupted the inner spaces but also the way people live today and how they relate with others.

theCALVOcemetery

The Calvo cemetery conmemorative role has fallen into the indifference and this is why it’s been called the “cemetery of the poors”, because of the many number of burials that has taken place in there. All the homeless people that come from slums and those who come from the streets. All men, women and childrens of the city that day after day die on streets and noone claimed their bodies. Those families with lack of resources or money who cannot afford to pay or acquire any funeral service. This is the Calvo Cemetery, the cemetery for those who has not.

The BMW Zagato Coupe combines design cues from both companies and has been entirely
hand built. You will notice that the car’s extremely long bonnet is definitely a BMW element, but the radiator grille and the headlamps have definitely received the Zagato treatment. The car features a very cool Rosso Vivace paint that ranges from something close to black all the way to a brilliant red, depending on the light.

from the front, the new Zagato Coupe is definitely a stunning interpretation of the classic BMW face. It has twin circular headlights, a kidney-shaped radiator grille, and BMW’s logo, as well as a pair of air intakes that are used to cool the engine beneath. The traditional BMW radiator grille, however, has received the Zagato treatment. The matte kidney frames were inspired by Buckmister Fuller geodetic structures and being that this is a Zagato creation, it gets a “Z” letter on the kidney grille.
