The author of the Presidency logo is Jerzy Janiszewski - author of wellknown around the world "Solidarity" logo, which became historical symbol of polish road to freedom as well as democratic changes in this part of the world.

Kuchnia PL/Cuisine PL Polish Presidency is an excellent opportunity to promote Polish cuisine. One of the most esteemed Polish leading chefs, Adam Chrząstkowski, supervises the creation of a select menu of Polish dishes based on native ingredients which will be served at high level meetings in Poland and Brussels. Also, foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during the presidency will receive collection of recipes for Polish cuisine dishes, specially arranged by 16 chefs, including three foreigners, working in the best Polish restaurants. The starting point of each recipe is a product commonly associated with Polish cuisine (e. g. herring,

cucumber, grits, poppy seed, venison). Each recipe id preceded by a description of the ingredient, including its cultural context, comprehensible for foreigners. Modern illustration makes the publication more attractive. The publication is available on the Presidency website
