NEXT IS NEXT is a travel company that provides luggage and accessories for all types of travelers. As part of re-branding themselves, they want to provide a healthy, supportive, and inclusive environment to everyone. NEXT wants to have a positive impact on the world through their products, platform, and community they’ve created. Partnering with Steelcase offers unique, adjustable, ergonomic furniture that supports a flexible working environment for its users. Encompassing 15,000 square feet within the 7th & 8th floor of a satellite office, this space will need to accommodate 51 hybrid employees and 8 employees that work remotely.

DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT NEXT’s new design will reflect and support the connections that are networked together through their platform, products, and community within the workspace. By prioritizing employee wellbeing, productivity, inclusivity, collaboration, and engagement, NEXT’s networks within the workspace will grow stronger. To gain connection and networks with their travelers, NEXT’s work environment needs to support positive connections within to gain any. This will be implemented in the design by providing accessibility to anyone in the workspace. Encouraging cross- generational mentoring by open placement of individual stations and private offices. Including a classic color palette that reflects NEXT’s product style of black, navy’s, gray-blue, evergreen and grays.

• Connecting the letters together reflects the overall concept of connections.
FONT: OPEN SANS COLORS:
NEXT’s color palate used throughout their brand are neutral, classic colors such as black, navy, Grey-blue, evergreen, taupeGrey, and pale pink. The intent for this color palate is to enhance the classic & modern aesthetic while additionally bringing in organic tones to allow the space to feel active and fresh.
