Dante Cucina Italiana at Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas

Dante Cucina Italiana, named after the poet “Dante Alighieri” serves the resort’s Italian, Tuscan cuisine that hopefully brings some poetry into the guest’s palette, as it is the most visited restaurant at the property.

With both an indoor and outdoor seating area that can accommodate a total of 150 seats, the restaurant caters to families and couples alike.

An open kitchen is the centrepiece of the room, where the guests can see the chefs cooking everything from pasta and pizza to salads and risotto. On the other side, the bar does not only serve the finest Italian wine, but also displays the various desserts offered.

The interior has been inspired by the Italian lifestyle to create a contemporary design that brings forth the Italian culture without diminishing the Middle Eastern food customs where enjoying a meal with a large group of loved ones is the main course.

Grub & Vine by Chef Matt Manning serves refined bistro-style fare in a relaxed, contemporary space. Grub & Vine's seasonal menu changes regularly, with dishes that cater to every palate.

Its wine list features some of South Africa's most respected producers, hidden gems and cult classics. The wine list is also home to various special imports from across the globe.

Downstairs from the restaurant you are greeted by The Blue Room, Grub & Vine's live music and cocktail lounge that pays homage to the soulful sounds of jazz and the blues. Sip on some custom-crafted cocktails and enjoy a bite to eat while listening to some of the country’s top jazz, soul and blues artists.
