There are many challenges that we are faced with in our highly competitive hospitality industry. The most significant challenge is gaining occupancy and obtaining those reservations directly as opposed to from third-party reservation services like Booking. com and Expedia.
There are several effective ways we attempt to accomplish this. We continue to invest in our website and ensure it is user-friendly and mobile-optimized. H2o Suites website is often the first point of contact for potential guests, so making a great first impression is essential. The website should be easy to navigate, with clear information about our amenities, location, and pricing. It’s also essential to ensure the website is optimized for mobile devices since more and more people are booking travel on their phones.
We regularly review our search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to help our hotel’s website to rank higher in search engine results pages by creating quality content, optimizing metadata and images, and building backlinks from reputable sources. We also keep on top of our Google My Business listing and review responses and other local directories to improve visibility in search results.
Social media is also a powerful tool for H2o Suites to connect with potential guests and showcase our offerings. We use social media to share photos and videos of our rooms and amenities, promote special offers, educate customers on things to do in the area surrounding the hotel and engage with customers through comments and messages.
