If I had to define Isabela Grutman and Vita Sidorkina in one word — admittedly, a challenging task given their dynamic, multifaceted lives — I would keep returning to rare. Grutman and Sidorkina possess a unique, infectious energy — both separately and together — that you seldom encounter.
Case in point: in November, after wrapping up our long 10-hour shoot, the day was far from over for Grutman and Sidorkina. As I said my goodbyes, they eagerly began planning content for the new Isa Grutman Jewelry collection. Sidorkina playfully tried on the jewelry while Grutman shared her favorite pieces. It was in this moment that I truly began to appreciate the rarity of these remarkable, unstoppable women.
We often hear about the concept of the power woman in today’s society, as women continue to break through traditional gender barriers, challenge stereotypes, and pave the way for future generations. Grutman and Sidorkina are not only embracing this role but also redefining what it means to be a power woman in the modern era.
With a successful modeling career spanning over 20 years, Grutman has always considered fashion an integral part of her life. Today, she is the founder of Rangel, her namesake sustainable and contemporary clothing brand featured in major retailers like Shopbop and Revolve. She is also the founder of the fine jewelry brand Isa Grutman. Both brands weave Grutman’s DNA throughout, revealing who she is as a person. “When I was 17 years old, I studied fashion design in college, and that is when I learned a lot,” Grutman explains. “Because I was modeling, I didn’t have the opportunity to sew or start my own brand, but it was always something I knew I wanted to do. During Covid in 2020, I bought a sewing machine and started making clothes for my daughters. I began purchasing fabrics, cutting, and sewing on my own, which led my friends to suggest that I start a brand.” Thus, Rangel was born.
“Rangel is my last name,” she continues. “It is the name my mother, grandmother, and sisters carry. For me, it was important to use that last name as it reminds me of all the strong women in my life.”
Rangel is a tribute to Grutman’s Brazilian roots. In fact, she produces everything in Brazil and Portugal, ensuring that all materials, from fabrics to packaging, are sustainable. “I wanted to create a brand where women feel good about themselves,” Grutman says, a smile spreading across her face, revealing her immense pride in the brand. “I wanted outfits that women could wear both during the day and at night — something easy to wear that doesn’t require overthinking. Rangel is designed for women on the go.” The brand proves to be the true testament of a label founded by its ultimate customer.
Two years later, in 2022, Grutman launched Isa Grutman, honing in on her other passion. “At the same time, I always had a passion for jewelry because for me, jewelry is generational. It is something that will stay with you forever, that you can pass down to your kids, and so on. I created Isa Grutman Jewelry to have pieces that carry memories and stories around them — things that could stay with us forever,” Grutman says.
A strong sense of purpose and intention drives Grutman’s namesake brands. While she is deeply involved in the daily operations of both brands, she also plays a vital role in the non-profit organization Style Saves. Founded in 2011, Style Saves focuses on providing essential goods, such as school supplies and mentorship to the youth, with the goal of enhancing academic achievements.
“We started Style Saves with 500 kids nine years ago, and now we are serving 15,000 kids. Every year, we see a high demand for school supplies
and backpacks when we open registration, which often leads us to close registration within just two days,” reveals Grutman. Though each year brings new goals and bigger impacts, Grutman is particularly proud of this year’s achievements. “This year — while it may seem like a small thing — I am very excited that we will be providing the kids with two polos instead of one. I’ve always thought that one polo is not enough. When you think about it, that means an extra 15,000 polos, and we manufacture everything ourselves,” she continues. Alongside founder Rachael Russell Saiger and an incredible team of volunteers, Grutman has dedicated her time outside of her brands to fostering a greater impact.
As for Sidorkina, her modeling career began at a young age, eventually leading her to secure major campaigns, as well as features in esteemed publications like Sports Illustrated, and runway shows. “I started modeling very young, and in this industry, I’ve probably received more nos than yeses I believe that’s one of the best gifts life could give me. I have built so much resilience from this industry,” she explains.
“I am actually very short for a model, so when I first started, I was often told that I would never have a successful career because of my height. So, I think that overcoming that was one of the best gifts to learn who I am and build my confidence,” Sidorkina reflects. Indeed, Sidorkina proved the industry wrong. Born in Khabarovsk, Russia, she had always dreamed of living in the United States, and by the age of 17, she had moved to New York City. In 2015, she landed her career-changing opportunity at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “Victoria’s Secret and [Sports Illustrated] are two iconic American brands that I was fortunate to work with, and I am forever grateful to them for helping me in my career path,” says Sidorkina, truly fulfilling her own American dream.
When Sidorkina moved to Miami in 2017, she began to transition into content creation as a natural progression to her career, amassing a million followers on Instagram this year alone. “Content creation allows me to be a present mom, which I believe is important at this stage of my life. It also serves as a creative outlet for growing my personal brand. I do believe that if you grow your social presence online, you can really do anything you want with it,” Sidorkina reveals.
With loyal followers on Instagram and a growing YouTube channel, Sidorkina has transformed her platform into a source of inspiration. “My goal online is to inspire other women to show up just the way they are and inspire mothers to have fun at the stage they are at in [motherhood]. I also share many wellness and health tips because I experienced an eating disorder during my modeling career. Now, I have finally found peace with how I look and feel,” she shares.
As the content creation industry rapidly evolves, Sidorkina easily keeps pace. Her secret? Staying authentic. “In a way, the industry has become more saturated with so many people who create content, but now, there is a demand to be more original and consistent. In the past year, for the first time, I’ve built my own team of three people dedicated to helping me grow my online presence.”
Sidorkina has taken another significant step as she teased that she would soon launch her first fashion venture, a capsule collection of shoes in collaboration with Miami-based Argentine brand Vicson.
Grutman and Sidorkina have individually achieved major milestones throughout their careers while continually evolving and redefining who they are along the way. However, what is even rarer is their dynamic together The two of them are shaping a new future for Miami as leaders and entrepreneurs in the fashion industry. In a sense, Miami itself is evolving

alongside them. “It’s definitely refreshing to see the city grow and have a very supportive environment. And we are supportive of the industry because when the industry thrives and there is growth, there are greater opportunities for us as well as everyone around us,” Sidorkina says.
Grutman chimes in, saying, “When I initially moved to Miami — and I moved here first in 2015,” she jokingly says to Sidorkina, “I felt like Miami was a great city, and I was very happy, but at the same time, there were a lot of aspects missing. For example, in fashion, music, and culture, a lot of little accents were missing for me. But now, I feel like there are a lot of creators here — photographers and stylists — and I’ve found my group of people who inspire me. I also met Vita when she moved here from New York. Since we both came from New York, I remember having a lot of these kinds of conversations. Now, I feel that we have a much more creative and inspiring environment.”
Sidorkina echoes Grutman’s sentiment: “Miami now has many different aspects — it’s family-friendly, but also fun and business-oriented. Finally, the city has different sides you can explore.”
[As a former New Yorker now living in Miami, I completely agree. Miami has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past several years, doing a complete 180 and creating numerous new opportunities. Yet, there is still plenty of room for growth.]
“I would love to see more of a fashion environment,” admits Grutman. “It’s important for new designers to receive more support and for local factories to be available here for sourcing. Finding fabrics and factories to collaborate with here is still hard for me. I would love the industry to grow and involve more people in the fashion community.”
Sidorkina shares a similar feeling, emphasizing the importance of a 360-degree perspective. “More brands need to come here and engage in activations. From the viewpoint of a content creator, it all functions as an ecosystem — new designers launching new brands — which creates opportunities for collaboration among these brands here for us to all work together and keep growing.”
Grutman and Sidorkina have become names that are synonymous with Miami and its culture, establishing themselves as true role models and, more importantly, changemakers. As they inspire thousands of women in Miami and around the world, perhaps their greatest inspirations are their daughters.
Motherhood is undoubtedly one of their most important roles, both challenging and rewarding at every stage. I sit in awe when we discuss motherhood and the idea of balance — a concept that they both find amusing.
“The concept of balance does not exist,” Sidorkina states. “It’s about finding what works for you personally. Even today, as I was driving here with feelings of ‘mom guilt’ on my way to our cover shoot, I realized it was about accepting and living through emotions while pursuing my passions. It is important to remember that a mom’s job is not just to be at home with the kids, taking care of basic needs; it is our job as moms to show our girls that when family life starts, your career and passions do not end. It is essential to evolve and continue to chase our dreams. For me, it is important to lead by example to show our girls how we evolve as individuals outside of family life. That is our duty.”
Adds Grutman, who also has two young girls, “It’s inspiring for our daughters as well. It’s our responsibility to show them that they can do anything they want to do in their life and achieve their goals, work hard, and do what they’re destined to do.”
In a rare moment during our interview, Grutman and Sidorkina share a warm hug, supporting each other while discussing how to navigate this
so-called balance. There is so much love between the two; it’s both palpable and inspirational.
In recent decades, it has been outside of the norm to find people who genuinely support and celebrate others’ successes in the fashion industry. For Grutman and Sidorkina, it’s really special that they found each other.
“One thing about Vita that people don’t know is that she is very straightforward,” says Grutman, lovingly, of course. “If I want to ask a real, honest opinion, I go to her. At the same time, it is inspiring to me because that is someone I want to be — I want to be someone who is direct and forward. And for my brands, I always look up to Vita because she is so stylish and inspiring.”
With a smile spreading across her face, Sidorkina adds, “Let me tell you a few things about Isa. She was one of the first people I met here, and I feel like we’ve gone through similar stages of life together — everything from motherhood to business. And one thing about Isa is she is never competitive with you. She always wants you to win; it is so rare to find in a friendship a person who genuinely wants to cheer for you.”
For Grutman and Sidorkina, the foundation of their happiness lies in the support system they’ve created in Miami. “I am just so proud of the friendships I have built here in Miami,” Sidorkina says. “It is one of my biggest achievements — I am confident in life knowing I have this support system no matter what happens.” Grutman gives Sidorkina a squeeze, and echoes her thoughts, saying, “I am very lucky to have a group of girls here. When I am overworked or overwhelmed with life, they are my grounding.”
I can confidently say that these two women embody my definition of the modern power woman today. For Grutman, the ultimate power woman is someone who has the confidence to speak up for what she believes in. Sidorkina, on the other hand, believes that power women can take many different forms. “I have so many women around me who inspire me in different ways — Isa, as a businesswoman, is not scared to pursue her dreams and goals. Then there are my friends who are stay-athome moms, and that, too, requires a powerful woman. One thing that unites us all is the confidence inside, knowing that you are on the right path and that your vision is clear. To be a power woman, you are fulfilled in your own life and the circumstances you are standing on.”
The idea of the power woman has certainly evolved and manifested in various personas. Reflecting throughout this interview, feeling inspired myself, I have to take the opportunity to ask our cover stars what advice they would give to their younger selves.
“I would say, don’t be scared of your own path. It takes a long time to build who you really are, so don’t judge yourself or be scared to take risks. Life will pivot you and take you another way — just don’t be scared of things taking time,” Grutman says. She reveals this lesson as she reflects on the patience she personally needed while building her empire, adding, “When I started modeling at 13 years old, I had a clear vision and confidence inside that I would go far in modeling. I believe that if you approach anything with confidence, you can pursue anything.” Sidorkina concurs, sharing that she fought for so long to detach from her original ‘plan,’ which ultimately turned out to be the best decision she ever made. “It’s also good to draw a plan, but it’s more important to be flexible as to where life takes you. It’s good to have a plan, but let your intuition guide you,” she says.
There is no linear path, no one-size-fits-all, to finding success in life. However, Grutman and Sidorkina have put forth a new definition to the power woman in 2025.
RESTAURANT REVIEW
From a Michelin-starred restaurant to dining venues by Miami’s top hospitality groups, here are the hautest 2025 dining destinations in Miami so far.

CLAUDIE
This month, Brickell is set to welcome CLAUDIE, the latest culinary gem from the Riviera Dining Group, following the incredible success of MILA and CASA NEOS. CLAUDIE will transport guests to the South of France with its elevated French-Mediterranean cuisine, crafted by chef Michaël Michaelidis. The menu, inspired by “la cuisine du soleil,” features signature dishes like a theatrical table-side gazpacho and luxurious pâtes au caviar. The restaurant’s interior design, by OV & Co. and Lazaro Rosa-Violán, encapsulates the joie de vivre of French Riviera towns, with a stunning terrace featuring a Van Cleef & Arpelsinspired fountain and an Ada Da Silva bronze sculpture. Inside, the 2,408-square-foot main dining room offers an intimate ambiance with Mediterranean-inspired tiles and handcrafted furnishings, while the private dining room features a captivating mural by Victoria Krylov depicting a day of Mediterranean living. 1101 Brickell Ave Suite 101, 33131
CASA MADERA
On the heels of the success of Sparrow Italia by international hospitality group Noble 33, Casa Madera has opened in Wynwood this winter. Spread across two floors in a 17,600 square-foot space, Casa Madera is a high-energy dining experience reminiscent of the Mexican Riviera. Designed by Noble 33, in collaboration with iCrave, a Journey studio, the ambiance creates a seaside luxury space with light plaster, natural stones, and greenery, creating an inviting, breezy atmosphere. Under the culinary guidance of corporate executive chef Martin Heierling, the menu celebrates Mexico’s coastal flavors with dishes like casa guacamole and madai snapper, alongside an impressive raw bar and innovative tacos. The beverage program, curated by Juan Carlos Santana, offers a sophisticated array of cocktails, including the Spiritual, Not Religious, and the Emerald Tide, complementing the vibrant dining experience. 255 NW 25th Street Floor 7, 33127
CAMPO
Campo, nestled in the iconic Faena District, has opened its doors, offering a contemporary interpretation of New American cuisine with a Latin flair, inspired by the concept of farm-to-table dining. Reflecting the meaning of its name — ‘field’ or ‘countryside’ — Campo champions sustainability, featuring ingredients sourced locally from South Florida, under the guidance of executive chef Antonio Maldonado. His menu is a nod to his Mexican heritage and 22 years of culinary experience, including innovative dishes like an avocado salad with Ark Farm shishito and a gratitude mushroom tlacoyo, alongside sustainable seafood and vegan options. A true celebration of culinary and cultural immersion designed by Alan Faena, the 95-seat restaurant boasts murals by Brazilian artist Joao Incerti, infusing the space with the vibrancy of Miami culture. Casa Faena, 3500 Collins Ave, 33140
MIKA
In mid-December, Coral Gables welcomed MIKA, the first standalone Florida venture by Michelin-starred chef Michael White. MIKA introduces the refined flavors of the Mediterranean Riviera to Miami, with a menu that celebrates the region’s coastal cuisines through dishes like langoustine carpaccio and fusilli with octopus and bone marrow. The restaurant’s interior, by Bishop Design, draws from Mediterranean inspiration with its use of stones, distressed wood, and artisanal lighting across an 8,195-square-foot space. Co-owners Alex Pirez and Matt Safchik, with their extensive hospitality backgrounds, join White in this venture, aiming to make MIKA a beloved local destination with its 100-seat dining room, stylish bar, and private dining area. An impressive selection of Italian, French, and American wines, alongside classic cocktails, complements the dining experience, making MIKA the perfect addition to Miami’s burgeoning culinary scene. 3007 Ponce de Leon, Coral Gables, 33134

Ferrari Purosangue
BY TIM LAPPEN
I’VE OFTEN SAID THAT “FERRARI” MAY BE THE MOST-PERFECT HYPERCAR name — it even sounds fast and is fun to say, in whatever ersatz-Italian accent you can muster up. The same goes for the new Ferrari Purosangue, in which they built on the sonorous accolades from the brand’s illustrious heritage to name a vehicle that is so far from the normal vision of an “SUV” (much less a “minivan”) — with good reason. And to dispel any rumor that, as a four-door higher-profile vehicle, it’s not a “real” Ferrari, they used the Italian word for “thoroughbred” that literally translates to “pure blood.” Heck, they even came up with a new three-letter moniker: it’s not an SUV, it’s an FUV (don’t jump to any conclusions here as it stands for “Ferrari Utility Vehicle”).
Purists may say that to be a Ferrari, the vehicle has to be a sports car as anything else is pure heresy. Then again, purists used to say that a Betamax was the way to go before VHS obliterated the competition. Purists also used to say that a McIntosh stereo amplifier, at a hair under $2,000, was the only way to listen to music at home, even though only the family dog could appreciate the sound.
But enough about background and allusions. What’s it like, and is it true to its heritage? In two words: “bravissimo” and “abso-ferrari-lutely.”
Let’s start with the looks, as that’s what hits you first. Svelte with sinuous, wind-sculpted lines, clearly a performance look, accentuated by the lack of rear-door hardware (the rear-hinged doors, which open toward the back, are operated by a small switch at the top of the front beltline), which gives the Purosangue the look of a tall GT car. Ferrari has long offered two-plus-two vehicles, so the idea of a Ferrari for four is not new. The most recent iterations of the FF and then the GTC4Lusso showed that the Maranello Masters were very adept at melding form, performance, and comfort for a vehicle suitable for a small group of people. The Purosangue just took that heredity further, providing a vehicle that does not compromise on sufficient headroom nor on the front and rear seat space, but still looks terrific.
Of course, being a Ferrari, the car is a performer. A mid-front-engine layout for the impressive V12 motor (naturally aspirated, which means no turbo- or super-charger) portends great handling and superb acceleration, both of which
A wolf in wolf’s clothing.

this car has in gobs. Who but Ferrari would create an all-wheel-drive utility vehicle with 49:51 percent weight distribution? And lest we forget, the massively powerful motor can rocket the car to 60 miles per hour in just over three seconds (be careful not to test that when the boot is chockablock with groceries).
Handling? Yes, please. Again, the Purosangue delivers. This is a vehicle into which Ferrari clearly poured every trick in their book. High-end aero development focused on bodywork, underbody, and even the rear diffuser to handle airflow economically. Four-wheel steering for more alacrity around town and in the twisties, active suspension to better handle the vagaries of the road and allow for more dynamic cornering (the body remains almost flat in the turns and the tire contact patch is kept at the maximum) and a newly developed chassis and a carbon fiber roof make for a lower center of gravity. It will come as no surprise that technology designed for the 812 Competizione pays an active role (no pun intended) in the Purosangue.
Sound? Again, a decidedly strong “yes.” The notes from the professional “Burmester 3D High-End Surround Sound System” are purely recreated by ribbon tweeters (the first time they have been fitted to any production car) and the subwoofer in its own cabinet will get your body thumping. But, as this is V-12 Ferrari, I expect that the drivers will not use the entertainment sound system anywhere near as much as the right-pedal on/off switch for the real symphony coming from the orchestra under the hood. Look, I love electric cars as much as the next guy (well, probably more than some, less than others) but as Jay Leno likes to say, “There’s no replacement for displacement,” and never were truer words said than when referring to a motor that has 12 raging cylinders, with some 6,500 ccs of displacement and 725 cv (about 715 hp) of power. The exhaust note on this car is nothing short of symphonic.
I loved every minute I had with this car. The looks, the sound, the comfort, the performance — and did I mention sound and performance? — make for a terrific package. “Mine” was very well equipped, with a base price of $393,350 and a price as tested of $576,544. Ferrari clearly didn’t hold back when it came to the parts bin on this one. Such options as carbon fiber here, there, and everywhere, matt black/diamond-cut forged wheels, front suspension lifter (de rigueur if you don’t want a carbon fiber rhinoplasty courtesy of your driveway), special paint (Rosso Portofino on my test car and Grigio Titanio Metall on the model featured here), and more gave reason for the $183,000+ options total.
Driving the Purosangue is quite like driving a taller high-performance Ferrari sports car with terrific visibility and superior ergonomics. I found much to love about this vehicle and expect that it will do well in all markets. It’s the perfect blend of performance, looks, comfort, handling, and all around fun.

LOUIS VUITTON TAMBOUR TAIKO SPIN TIME
WHILE LOUIS VUITTON HAD QUITE AN IMPRESSIVE SHOWING, like the new Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin Time really stole the show. The Spin Time, a complication uniquely associated with Louis Vuitton, has been a hallmark of the Maison’s haute horlogerie since 2009, when it was first developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. This innovative jumping hours display, inspired by the flap displays in airports and train stations, has now evolved into the Tambour Taiko Spin Time collection. This new line, entirely powered by in-house movements, introduces six limited-edition models that redefine the Spin Time with a fresh design ethos. The collection’s introduction marks a significant moment for Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking, showcasing a blend of tradition
and innovation with its 39.5 mm and 42.5 mm cases, the latter featuring an open case back to reveal the intricate in-house caliber.
The Tambour Taiko Spin Time not only revisits the origins of Spin Time but also pushes the boundaries with new technical and esthetic developments. The watches feature a patented three-dimensional jumping cubes display, now with subtly curved faces for enhanced light play, housed within a meticulously crafted Tambour Taiko case inspired by Japanese ceremonial drums. This case is a testament to the advanced skills of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, with complex finishes and integrated lugs that marry elegance with ergonomics. Moreover, the collection introduces groundbreaking complications like the worldfirst travel time display in the Antipode model and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering in the Tourbillon variant.

DANIEL ROTH EXTRA PLAT SOUSCRIPTION
DANIEL ROTH CONTINUES ITS REVIVAL WITH THE EXTRA PLAT
Souscription, a limited edition of 20 pieces that pays homage to the brand’s 1990s origins with a new DR002 movement, crafted in 18k yellow gold with a hand-made guilloche dial, maintaining the iconic double ellipse form and traditional watchmaking techniques. This ultra-thin dress watch, echoing the simplicity and elegance of the original Extra Plat from 1990, combines historical design elements with modern mechanical innovation, developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

GERALD GENTA OURSIN FIRE OPAL
THE GÉRALD GENTA GENTISSIMA OURSIN FIRE OPAL IS THE FOURTH watch in the series, blending Genta’s design legacy with vibrant esthetics. It features 137 individually screwed fire opals set around a 36.5 mm yellow gold case, complemented by an orange cornelian dial. This limited-edition timepiece, inspired by a sea urchin spotted during a 1994 vacation in Corsica, pays tribute to Genta’s passion for exquisite stones and his intuitive design approach.
TAG HEUER FORMULA 1 CHRONOGRAPH
THE FOCUS THIS YEAR FOR TAG HEUER IS CLEAR: IT IS ALL ABOUT Formula 1. On the heels of the exciting announcement in January that TAG Heuer would return to F1 as the Official Timekeeper, the brand is going all-in on its legacy at F1 as they introduced five new additions (four chronographs, to be exact) to its renowned Formula 1 collection. The highlight is the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing, crafted with a grade-2 titanium case and a forged carbon bezel. Its blue opaline dial with a checkered flag pattern captures the spirit of F1, complete with Oracle Red Bull Racing’s iconic colors. This special edition celebrates the thrill of racing and the successful partnership between TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing, which has produced eight exclusive timepieces since 2016.

HUBLOT BIG BANG TOURBILLON AUTOMATIC GREEN SAXEM
NEW CEO JULIEN TORNARE IS LASER-FOCUSED ON HUBLOT’S DNA of being unconventional and working outside the conformed boundaries of watchmaking. Case in point: the new Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green Saxem. A limited edition of 18 pieces, the watch showcases a pioneering use of SAXEM, a material akin to sapphire but with vibrant color capabilities. The emerald-green transparent case houses the MHUB6035 self-winding tourbillon movement, developed in-house, with a 72-hour power reserve.

TIFFANY & CO. BIRD ON A ROCK TSAVORITE WATCH
LEVERAGING ITS 187-YEAR LEGACY, TIFFANY & CO. CONTINUES TO INNOVATE WITH the Jean Schlumberger watch collection, where the emblematic Bird on a Rock, first introduced as a brooch in 1965, is reimagined with a diamond-encrusted bird that spins freely on the dial, crafted through a meticulous process involving hand-sculpted gold, diamond setting, and a pink sapphire eye, embodying Schlumberger’s vision of whimsy and movement. The Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Tsavorite Watch features a 39 mm case with 413 round brilliant diamonds and a rotating outer ring set with 36 baguette tsavorites of 5.4 total carats, including a self-winding Swiss movement and a dark green alligator strap with a diamond-set T buckle.
BVLGARI LADY SOLOTEMPO BVS100 AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
AT BVLGARI, THINGS GOT TECHNICAL THIS YEAR AS THEY UNVEILED A BRAND NEW movement, the Lady Solotempo BVS100 automatic movement. After years of meticulous development, this new iteration showcases the brand’s watchmaking expertise, perfectly fitting within the iconic Serpenti head design. This compact movement, measuring 19 mm in diameter and 3.90 mm thick, offers a 50-hour power reserve, enhancing the versatility of the Serpenti collection while solidifying Bvlgari’s reputation in high-end horology and within the LVMH family.
ZENITH CHRONOMASTER SPORT RAINBOW
THIS YEAR MARKS ZENITH’S 160TH ANNIVERSARY, AND CEO BENOIT DE CLERCK HAS MANY surprises up his sleeve. To kick off this monumental year, Zenith has introduced the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow, which is crafted from 18k solid white gold and features 50 baguette-cut gemstones. The 41 mm case is adorned with a subtle rainbow bezel and hour markers composed of 40 vibrant sapphires, totaling approximately 3.9 carats. Additionally, the watch showcases 10 baguette-cut diamonds, amounting to around one carat, on the 1/10th of a second frequency chronograph. This piece is testament to Zenith’s mastery of gem-setting and high-frequency watchmaking.

THE DOLOMITES AMAN ROSA ALPINA
Head to the Italian town of San Cassiano, a classic resort in The Dolomites with an alpine twist that also doubles as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Skiing and pampering are at the forefront here at the Aman Rosa Alpina hotel, which, though it officially opened its doors in 1939 simply as Rosa Alpina, is reopening this year with a massive refurbishment as a fully-fledged Aman. Architectural enhancements to the exterior of the hotel and interior communal areas now allow for a more diverse and extensive culinary offering with the addition of private dining spaces for intimate celebrations, while the wellness area has almost doubled in size and provides an entirely new spa menu. The redesign, overseen by longtime Aman collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects (who most recently masterminded the monumental transformation of the Crown Building to become Aman New York), includes a remodel of all 50 rooms and suites, the top of which are two 1,615-square-foot presidential suites and the 3,015-square-foot Chalet Zeno, a private refuge accommodating up to six guests. Strada Micurà de Rü, 20, 39036 San Cassiano BZ, Italy

ST. MORITZ GRAND HOTEL
DES BAINS KEMPINSKI
There is no doubt St. Moritz is the most stunning and most glamorous mountain setting of the Swiss Alps, transforming into a snow-covered wonderland each winter as it hosts the Snow Polo World Cup and fellow horse race White Turf. Here, there are two villages: Bad, near the town’s center, and Dorf, located by the region’s thermal springs. The latter is for those who want to shop and après minus the skiing while those looking for a quieter, more private getaway should stay at Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski, located at the foot of the Signalbahn cable car and the legendary Hahnensee ski run, which offers access to the ski in/ski out to Corviglia and Piz Corvatsch ski areas. The 196-room property, open since 1864, is home to three awarded restaurants, inclusive of the Michelin-starred Cà d’Oro and the Italian gourmet Ristorante Da Adriano with 14 Gault Millau points. The luxury experience is completed by its Alpine Spa and its purifying Mauritius spring water, four different saunas, steam bath, laconium, atmospheric indoor pool and heated outdoor pool, gym, Kneipp baths, and alpine garden, in-house ski school, and appropriately-named nightlife venue, Billionaire. Via Mezdi 27, 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland
VERBIER W V ERBIER
For those seeking some of the most challenging backcountry skiing (and one of the longest ski run in the world), head to Verbier. The crowd, a posh mix of British Royals and wealthy Europeans, converges here for the upscale vibe and the area itself: smack dab in the midst of 4Vallées (comprised of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon). For a stay that’s truly both fun and luxurious, check in to the W Verbier, which offers ski in/ski out access, just steps away from the main Verbier lifts. The property is home to 123 rooms and suites, each of which has a fireplace and private balcony, making it the perfect spot for an intimate escape after a full day of powder. This 5-star property offers a wide range of culinary options, including a tapas bar and mixology experiences at the brand’s signature W Living Room. Guests can unwind in a 14,000 square-foot Alpine oasis, which features two pools, nine treatment rooms, and the brand’s signature gym — FIT. The hotel also offers W’s renowned Whatever/Whenever service, but also uniquely provides a dedicated W Mountain Concierge that will provide exclusive access to all experiences on and off the slopes, from your first snowboard lesson to a heli-skiing adventure. On-property wellness experiences are pretty amazing as well, too, ranging from yoga with former Freeride World Tour snowboard champion Emilien Badoux to one-on-one fitness with an in-house biomechanics coach.

ZERMATT MONT CERVIN PALACE
This stunning Swiss alpine mountain town is a must for skiers in that it features the highest-altitudes pistes in Europe, just below the iconic, pyramid-shaped Matterhorn peak. Here in Zermatt, you’ll also find the highest cable car station in Europe with views of both the Swiss and Italian Alps, and the Gornergrat, a mountain panorama with glorious views of the Matterhorn. Luxury lovers will like it, too, as its main street — Bahnhofstrasse — is liberally dotted with high-end boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and luxury hotels. On that front, our pick is Mont Cervin Palace — often referred to as the ‘Grande Dame of Zermatt’ due to fact that it opened its doors in 1853 — that offers the best of both worlds as it is actually located on Bahnhofstrasse. When you’re not on the slopes, there’s an endless amount to do here, be it dining at its Michelin star restaurant, Ristorante Capri, drinking at Joseph’s Bar and the Bar at the Petit Cervin, or relaxing at Spa Nescens. Bahnhofstrasse 31, 3920 Zermatt, Switzerland
GSTAAD THE ALPINA GSTAAD
Switzerland is so good for skiing that we had to feature another Swiss locale in Gstaad, an upscale resort town in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps. Its breathtaking views, sublime skiing, and prestigious international boarding schools have long made it a holiday destination for royalty and celebrities. Both can be at The Alpina Gstaad, a five-star, eco-friendly hotel known for its mindful, conscious, and responsible luxury. Classically carved ceilings and timber-clad walls create a cozy feel when coupled with leather headboards, Swiss farmhouse-style cupboards and chests, and décor such as the traditional leather straps used to hold cowbells an iconic image for Gstaad. The property also features the Michelin star restaurant Martin Göschel, which features a French-based cuisine that incorporates local and regional ingredients from the Saanenland and 400 rare vintages of wine, as well as Megu, a restaurant from Sushi Master Tsutomu Kugota. It is also home to a Six Senses spa, which, for those in the know, offers an intuitive mix of science and human awareness that is both high-tech and high-touch. Alpinastrasse 23, 3780 Gstaad, Switzerland

COURCHEVEL HÔTEL BARRIÈRE LES NEIGES
Moving on, let’s head to the French Alps ski resort of Courchevel, located in the Tarentaise Valley — part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski area in the world known for hosting the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 2023 World Ski Championships. It is also home to one of the largest concentrations of 5-star luxury hotels in Europe. Our pick is the ski in/ski out Hôtel Barrière Les Neiges, a boutique offering from the prestigious Barrière Group that is small but mighty, with just 22 rooms and 20 suites, all of which have a refined style, warm atmosphere, and breathtaking views of the peaks. New for winter 2025, the property has debuted a glorious new two-story restaurant in Loulou, a celebration of Savoyard culture with beautiful views of the snow-covered Bellecôte run. The eatery also highlights cuisine from the neighboring Italian Alps, with menu items like truffle pizza and pasta al pomodoro by day, and by night, transforms into a DJ-focused party spot. The property also unveiled a collaboration with renowned beauty expert Elodie Raheria in its Biologique Recherche spa. 422 Rue de Bellecôte, 73120 Courchevel, France
MEGÈVE L’ ALPAGA, A BEAUMIER HOTEL
Megève, a ski resort village in the Mont Blanc massif of the French Alps, is known for its downhill runs, snow parks, and crosscountry trails as well as its idyllic, vintage vibe — due in part to the medieval, cobblestoned streets of its center. Stay at l’Alpaga, the only resort in Megève to offer views of the Mont Blanc. It, too, is tiny, with just 22 rooms — all decorated in a contemporary alpine style, highlighted by wood, stone, flannel curtains, cashmere rugs, and faux fur. Stay in one of six private chalets, which come complete with fireplaces, fully equipped modern kitchens, and private gardens. Don’t miss La Table de l’Alpaga, a Michelin-star eatery courtesy of chef Antony Bisquerra; SPA de l’Alpaga, a quiet heaven of tranquility and well-being featuring a gym, hammam, a leisure pool with massage jets and a bubble couch, and a new outdoor pool. Outside, enjoy the Scandinavianstyle sauna and heated bath overlooking the Mont Blanc. 66 All. des Marmousets, 74120 Megève, France

JACKSON HOLE CALDERA HOUSE
Jackson is a town in Wyoming’s Jackson Hole valley, home to three ski areas: Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King Mountain Resort, and Grand Targhee Resort. It’s known for its party vibe and great runs on the peaks of the Grand Teton National Park, as well as its proximity to Yellowstone National Park. Stay at Caldera House, an all-suites, ski in/ski out hotel with a private members club in the heart of Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Its exclusivity was the intention of owner Wes Edens, also known as the owner of the Milwaukee Bucks and one of the co-owners of Cincoro Tequila, who enlisted the help of friends and co-owners Michael Novogratz, David Barry, and Randal Nardone to create an unmistakably luxurious property. Award-winning design studios Commune and Carney Logan Burke designed this eight-suite hotel with state-of-the-art kitchens, modern fireplaces, private outdoor balconies, heated bathroom floors, steam showers, soaking tubs, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning mountain views. Stays include a dedicated concierge, access to the member’s lounge and spa, custom bootfitting and ski-tuning, demos at the on-site ski shop, and ski-valet; a spa that features an infinity hot plunge, dry sauna, and state-of-theart fitness/yoga studio; three distinct restaurants; and a private bar and lounge. 3275 Village Dr, Teton Village, WY 83025
JACKSON HOLE FOUR SEASONS RESORT & RESIDENCES JACKSON HOLE
Nestled in a verdant mountain valley, the upscale yet locationappropriate Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is surrounded by some of America’s most rugged peaks, celebrated ski runs, and wildlife in nearby Grand Teton National Park. Standout offerings from this high-end hotel include the arrival of 80 Proof, an elegant speakeasy influenced by the American frontier with an elegantly tiled bar, leather chairs, damask wallpaper, accents of brass, playful maroon-plaid carpeting, and a custom toile wall covering; the mountainside First Chair grab and go market — aptly named for the sought-after “first chair,” when a ski resort opens for the day; a complete renovation of its signature 4,355-square-foot, five-bedroom Granite Residence; and the newly repositioned member’s lounge, allowing for ski-in/ ski-out access, culinary and après offerings, and an expanded Mountain Club Membership program. The hotel also offers unique excursions, inclusive of an immersive adventure by private plane to scout the elusive grey wolf population in nearby Yellowstone National Park, and a discovery of said park’s geographic and geothermal features, such as Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, and Yellowstone Grand Canyon. 7680 Granite Loop Rd, Teton Village, WY 83025

ASPEN HOTEL JEROME, AUBERGE RESORTS COLLECTION
Aspen is the premiere ski resort in America — due in part to the ski runs themselves, and in part because of its massive celebrity following. On any given day, one might see some of Hollywood’s finest strolling through town in their fur parkas, on the slopes, indulging in some après at Casa Tua, The Snow Lodge, or Catch Steak, or fine dining at Matsuhisa, Bosq, or Element 47. This winter, the culinary greatness carries over to Hotel Jerome, which has unveiled a collaboration with Taikun Sushi at its underground bar Bad Harriet in its Taikun x Bad Harriet omakase experience. Aspen’s first luxury hotel — a 134-year-old landmark that is part of the National Register of Historic Places — also boasts the lauded Aspen institution J-Bar; après-ski favorite, the Living Room bar and lounge; an award-winning spa; state-of-theart fitness facilities; a ski concierge; and an outdoor pool and hot tub. 330 E Main St, Aspen, CO 81611

Whistler, located in Vancouver, British Columbia, is home to Whistler Blackcomb, which offers excellent skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tobogganing, ski jumping, and more at the Olympic Park, home of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Our hotel pick is the stunning Four Seasons Whistler, North America’s largest ski resort, which offers some of the largest, most luxurious hotel rooms in this chalet-style village. Its décor can be described as modern-rustic, with rooms that feature stone, dark wood, and gas-burning fireplaces, of which are complemented by views of snow-capped mountains. There is also a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and, new for winter 2025, a Moët & Chandon après experience, inclusive of a champagne vending machine. 4591 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC V8E 0Y4, Canada
NISEKO, JAPAN SETSU NISEKO
The Niseko area of Japan has also made our hit list for the best places to ski in the world. Located on Japan’s northern island prefecture of Hokkaido, a two-hour drive away from Sapporo, this area is known to have the world’s best powder throughout the winter months. Stay at Setsu Niseko, which was voted the ‘World’s Best New Ski Hotel’ at the World Ski Awards last year, a hotel with 190 luxury suites encompassing a beautiful synthesis of Japanese design with easy access to the Grand Hirafu Ski Resort. The school of LOUIS VUITTON

For the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2025 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière teaches us a lesson in femininity where structure meets fluidity, texture dances with print, and tailoring is reimagined through a lens of retro-futuristic influences.

LOUIS VUITTON AND RENOWNED CONTEMPORARY ARTIST TAKASHI MURAKAMI MARK THE 20 TH ANNIVERSARY OF THEIR ICONIC COLLABORATION WITH A GLOBAL RE-EDITION LAUNCH THAT TAKES SHAPE IN ACTIVATIONS HONORING THE LEGACY OF THIS UNPARALLELED PARTNERSHIP.
BY ADRIENNE FAUROTE

PHOTOS COURTESY OF LOUIS VUITTON

Two decades after their landmark partnership, Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami reunite with a re-edition collection encapsulating the essence of their original collaboration. This union of Louis Vuitton’s commitment to creativity and Murakami’s vibrant, imaginative world, marked by his fusion of Japanese art, sci-fi, and kawaii culture, brings over 200 pieces that resonate with joy and artistic innovation.
The collection revisits and reimagines Murakami’s reinterpretation of the Louis Vuitton Monogram, introducing the Monogram Multicolore in 33 bright colors across an array of signature Louis Vuitton pieces, from the Keepall to the Speedy. Each product leverages advanced technology for sharper prints and richer colors, showcasing Murakami’s characters with unprecedented detail. Highlights include the playful LV Hands on the Alma BB bag, the Superflat Panda on various accessories, and the enchanting Cherry Blossom motif on the Papillon bag.
This re-edition not only honors the past but also embodies the enduring creative dialogue between Louis Vuitton and Murakami, transcending trends and generations.
New York is among the seven global cities to host immersive Louis Vuitton x Murakami events, alongside London, Milan, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo.
In the heart of SoHo, Louis Vuitton has inaugurated a pop-up to commemorate the re-edition of the iconic Louis Vuitton x Murakami collaboration. Inspired by Tokyo’s modular hotels, the space is segmented into themed areas, each vibrant and purposeful, connected by a sleek central corridor.
The retail area showcases the new Chapter One collection, featuring the Monogram Multicolore, Superflat Panda, and Superflat Garden. Purchases grant access to a unique vending machine, dispensing exclusive Louis Vuitton x Murakami collectibles. An exhibition section pays homage to the original collaboration, displaying historic pieces like the Eye Love Monogram and Monogram Blossom, offering a glimpse into the creative breadth of the initial partnership.
Sustainability and heritage are at the forefront with a dedicated care station for original pieces, where services range from cleaning to restoration, all observable in real time. The cinematic journey into the collaboration’s history is enhanced by a cozy downstairs cinema screening remastered versions of the Superflat Monogram film and Superflat First Love, where Murakami’s characters guide viewers through fantastical narratives inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Completing the experience, a café adorned with Murakami’s floral motifs opens for the first weekend, offering a menu of artisanal beverages and panda-shaped pastries served in custom-designed Louis Vuitton x Murakami cups.

In Milan, Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami transform urban travel into a moving art exhibition, with two trams — one hosting a unique café experience and the other a miniature cinema — circulating the city, showcasing the vibrant synergy of fashion and art. Also, the Louis Vuitton Rome Etoile store offers a permanent cinematic journey into the world of Takashi Murakami with screenings of the Superflat movies in a dedicated cinema space.

The Harajuku pop-up in Tokyo — Murakami’s hometown — stands as the largest and most immersive Louis Vuitton x Murakami activation worldwide, redefining the boundaries between art, fashion, and cultural experience.

Beyond a pop-up in Dosan, Seoul enriches the Louis Vuitton x Murakami celebration with the Dodo ice cream shop, where guests can enjoy themed treats and the interactive Picdot photo booth experience.

Shanghai’s Julu Road transforms into a vibrant hub of art and fashion with three distinct Louis Vuitton x Murakami pop-ups: a café adorned with a Superflat Garden facade, a retail space showcasing the Monogram Multicolor, complete with archives and a vending machine, and a cinema further down the street.

MARK CELEBRATE BAM ADEBAYO AT THE MOORE MIAMI

ON JANUARY 18, MAKER’S MARK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Haute Living and Haute Black honored NBA star Bam Adebayo and his mother, Marilyn Blount, for their creation of a custom Maker’s Mark Private Selection bourbon, entitled Bam & Marilyn’s 1 of 1 Blend, at The Moore in Miami. The celebration highlighted the launch of his custom blend Bam & Marilyn’s 1 of 1 that Bam and his mom Marilyn created as part of the brand’s Private Selection program, which allows individuals, retail, and restaurant partners to purchase a barrel and explore their own taste visions of Maker’s Mark. Kamal Hotchandani, CEO of Haute Living, delivered a heartfelt speech celebrating Maker’s Mark’s artistry and its special partnership with Bam and Marilyn, expressing: “Hand-dipped in its iconic red-wax for over 70 years, Maker’s Mark is the handmade Kentucky bourbon — warm, inviting, and perfectly balanced — it is the best bourbon to share with friends and family.” The event drew a notable guest list, including Radmila Lolly, Dr. Bertha Baum, Jason Humble, John Utendahl, and more. Acclaimed artists Vic Garcia and Bradley Theodore presented Adebayo with custom artworks inspired by his special bond with his mom. Throughout the evening, guests savored Maker’s Mark-inspired cocktails, including The Bam, made with Bam and Marilyn’s Private Selection Maker’s Mark, fresh pineapple juice, lime juice, and mint. The curated dining experience included dishes such as the citrus cured hamachi, trout roe, and cucumber vinaigrette.

WELCOMES
CINDY CRAWFORD TO MIAMI

ON NOVEMBER 3, HAUTE LIVING RAISED A GLASS TO Cindy Crawford, its November 2024 Miami cover star and a dear friend of the brand. While there was certainly a lot to celebrate during the evening — Crawford’s latest cover and the 20th anniversary of her beauty brand Meaningful Beauty — the night was also a warm welcome to her and her husband, Rande Gerber, as they recently bought a new home in Miami. Some of Crawford’s closest friends and her son, Presley Gerber, gathered to celebrate her and the family’s new Miami beginnings during an intimate cocktail at Casa Tua Miami Beach. Bespoke cocktails, champagne, and wines were served throughout the evening, as well as some of Casa Tua’s classic antipasti for guests to indulge in. As guests mingled, Adrienne Faurote, the fashion, jewelry, and watch director of Haute Living, welcomed guests and thanked Crawford for her enduring partnership and legacy at the magazine. The cover star then expressed her immense gratitude for the support and remarked on her excitement about joining this new Miami family. Other notable attendees included Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Haute Media Group publisher Seth Semilof, Radmila Lolly, John Utendahl, Naeem Khan, Madlena Kalinova, Kinga Lampert, and more.

AND DOMUS ARTIUM RESERVE CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF TOUS LES JOURS 621

ON DECEMBER 5, HAUTE LIVING AND DOMUS ARTIUM RESERVE co-hosted an extraordinary dinner at the Four Seasons Surfside in Miami to celebrate the launch of Tous Les Jours 621 by Domus Artium Reserve. The event featured 3 Michelin starred chef Thomas Keller, digital artist Beeple, celebrated winemaker Michel Rolland, and Barrett Wissman of Domus Artium Reserve. Chef Keller shared insights into the creative process, revealing that Beeple, famous for his $69 million NFT sale, designed the wine label in the spirit of Château Mouton Rothschild’s tradition of using renowned artists for their bottles. During the evening, Beeple gave a heartfelt speech about how honored he felt to be a part of such a special and innovative project, merging art, technology, and wine. Wissman followed with remarks about how Domus Artium Reserve secured the legendary Michel Rolland to craft this exquisite French wine exclusively for chef Keller. The dinner attracted a distinguished crowd, including top crypto traders and innovators such as Ethereum co-founder Taylor Gerring, venture capitalist Micky Malka of Ribbit Capital, J. Rey Soul of Black Eyed Peas, and more.
