After experiencing luxurious hotels around the world, Faye Nielsen’s clients desired to extend that luxury into their home. The renovation had to be functional, child-friendly and copacetic with the new contemporary blueprint of the home.
The home is a smart home with, which features Control 4 throughout the home. The clients did not want to deviate or compromise on the design of the project so Faye and her team designed a home to exude luxury in every aspect.
The primary bath is equipped with chromotherapy, aroma therapy, smart toilet, custom lighting, lounges and vanity. The family room showcases an exquisite custom fireplace and glass staircase.

Led by Janine Loucaides, Studio Louca has a vision to create unique interiors that bring to life our client’s aspirations from the initial design concept through to execution and handover. The driving creative vision at the heart of Studio Louca is to create timeless luxury interiors that respect the buildings shell and surroundings, providing clients with a space that is harmonised with detail and texture, whilst also seeking to incorporate modernday technologies in a seamless manner.
One of our latest projects is an exclusive London, Mayfair residence with exceptional views of the London skyline. Our vision is to create a harmonious place to unwind away from the bustling city, with the aim of creating a connection to the sky and views above. The palette plays with the changing tones we see in the sky throughout the day with soft blues, golden yellows through to burnt oranges. The walls are hand painted with an abstract sky, that spills onto the wall panelling mixing the boundaries of classical architecture with a contemporary twist.
Fortunately, we are able to work with some wonderful artisans and play with fascinating finishes; for example, our mirror has intricate hand-dyed feathers layered in a couture manner. In the dining area, we are working with a phenomenal artisan to create a bespoke ceiling installation to sit above the dining table inspired by beautiful white clouds. The light shines through the translucent textured porcelain like the sun radiates through the clouds, creating a soothing ambiance to dine under with friends and family.

HAUTE LIVING CELEBRATED 10-TIME NBA ALL-STAR CARMELO ANTHONY at The Aster Los Angeles on June 28. The dinner was in celebration of Carmelo’s Haute Living Los Angeles and Haute Wine + Spirits covers, and the launch of his global estate brand VII(N) The 7th Estate. Held at The Aster Los Angeles, a soon-to-be-opened members-only club, featured a four-course meal, a specially commissioned art piece by Seek One, and a special toast by Louis XIII. During the dinner, Carmelo gave a moving speech expressing his love and gratitude for the Haute Living team as he told the crowd about his wine journey and offered a tasting of the wines that he is launching. Afterward, contemporary street artist Seek One presented Anthony with a custom painting for his collection. The night ended with a toast by Louis XIII to the NBA star on his new endeavors, hosted by Wayne Chang and Delano Wynter. Notable guests included Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Senior Vice President April Donelson, the Honorable Dr. Shyne Barrow – House of Representatives Belize, Ashkan Rajaee, Dr. Bhanusali, Sean Lee, Davie Lee, Bob Hotchandani, Dr. Victoria Veytsman, Asani Swann, Dontaye Draper, Jason Strauss, Crime by Design, Manuel Campos Guallar, Karla and Roberto Diaz, and Esha Gupta.

ON JUNE 14TH, HAUTE LIVING HOSTED HAUTE LEADERS AT Marion Miami for an elevated dinner and summery cocktails. The monthly dinner, a highlight for most Haute Living members, is a chance to connect with industry leaders from several markets. Guests from Haute Design, Residence, Lawyer, Beauty, and MD networks were welcomed with refreshing passionfruit cocktails and escorted into a private dining room, where a sumptuous three-course meal was presented. The appetizers included sweet and spicy edamame, hamachi jalapeño rolls, and popcorn shrimp. For entrées, Haute Leaders were served pineapple teriyaki salmon, spicy ginger filet mignon, and a risotto hot pot. Side dishes included truffle fries, truffle mac & cheese, and miso roasted cauliflower. To finish things off, dessert was presented in the form of Marion’s imperial experience, which is an assortment of sweets, fruits, and ice cream.
