On August 10, 2022, the who’s who of San Francisco dressed in elegant cocktail attire as they celebrated San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s 48th birthday at Neiman Marcus’ exclusively posh and intimate Penthouse on 5. Famed party host Aubrey Brewster (Salonnières “America’s Top 100 Party Hosts” as featured in Town & Country Magazine) and his husband, Dr. Edward Winger, hosted the celebration. Guests noshed on delectable hors d’oeuvres specially curated for the occasion by the executive chef the Rotunda, Erik Harrelson, and sipped on fine wine and Henriot champagne. In typical Aubrey Bewster style, the party featured a “help yourself” soft-serve ice cream sundae bar featuring Mayor Breed’s favorite flavor, strawberry, complete with San Francisco’s very own Ghirardelli sundae toppings. Red dahlias and peonies in silver ceramic vases adorned the tables to compliment Breed’s stunning vermillion and silver silk dress.

Among Mayor London Breed’s 70 birthday party revelers were former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, Jr.; candidate for California State Controller and former president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing District 10, Malia Cohen; ABC7’s Carolyn Tyler (retired); Haute Living, San Francisco’s very own editor-in-chief, Teresa Rodriguez; Remynt founder and chair of SFMTA, Gwyneth Borden; Union Square Alliance president, Marisa Rodriguez; fashion designer Vasily Vein; Brenda Wright; socialites Clara Shayevich, Farah Makras, Navid Armstrong, and luxury real estate agent (and Bravo’s “A-List San Francisco”) Joel Goodrich. “Aubrey’s level of production value is incredible, always the party of the moment!” stated Goodrich. “We were delighted that Aubrey and Ed chose us (Neiman Marcus, SF) as the venue to host the mayor’s birthday soiree, a wonderful evening of old and new friends alike enjoying Mayor Breed’s company.
