The interiors of Azimut Grande Trideck celebrate clean lines, exquisite details, and seamless fusion with exterior elements.
The privately owned, Italian-rooted Azimut Yachts recently celebrated 50 years in business. They put a feather in their cap by also cleaning house at the World Yachts Trophies 2021 with six awards.
The grande dame of this new fleet is the Azimut Grande Trideck. “Clients are raving about the exterior and interior design,” shares Jorge Camaraza, director of sales and marketing at MarineMax Miami. And why shouldn’t they be? “Designers Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni surpassed expectations by staying true to the Azimut aesthetic and crafting a world-class mega yacht.”
The Grande Trideck is considered a 3+1 because of its cascading three decks and its capacious open stern accommodations that feel more like a beach club than simply the rear of a boat. On the bow lies a Jacuzzi with a removable shade. If you missed its sleek, over-the-top interiors in Cannes, you may have caught it wowing stateside at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
While it was fantastic to have in-person events again and to show off the beauty and craftsmanship of the Azimut lineup IRL, the pandemic didn’t exactly slow sales. In fact, there has been a nice uptick in commissions since it hit.
“COVID-19 made everyone realize that true freedom and enjoyment lives beyond four walls,” says Camaraza. “The demand is unprecedented.” It’s too early to give hard stats, but Camaraza intimates the backlog is growing exponentially.
Maybe it’s because the yachts built today provide the ultimate escape to be enjoyed intimately with family and friends, sans other cough-prone travelers, with incredible service to boot . “Today’s modern technology and evolution of design create a private, luxurious, and mobile environment that unlocks the freedom of travel to explore,” says Camaraza.
Camaraza is most excited about the Azimut 53 Flybridge because it’s accessible to such a wide audience. “Part of the carbon tech design series allows for expanded volume within its length category,” he adds. “Engineered and powered by Volvo, the IPS pod system allows for better placement of propulsion and efficiency of space, allowing for a full-beam master bedroom with wall-to-wall windows that make the Azimut 53FLY an excellent choice for entry-level or seasoned yacht enthusiasts to enjoy in any waters around the world.”
For those who want to easily live aboard a vessel, the new Azimut 68Magellano combines a trawlerstyle hull design and a designforward interior, making it the right choice for long trips. In Cannes, “those clients who were ready to step up to a larger vessel lined up and patiently waited to get on board,” reports Camaraza. These are the kind of clients ready to enjoy time at sea without sacrificing anything that they may be leaving back on land.
The bonus? Clients don’t have to worry about their investment because Azimut’s service network is unmatched and provides a three-year warranty called “Peace of Mind.” It covers everything from bow to stern, even third-party equipment on board.
Worried you might miss the boat? If you’re ready to jump, then do it. As each day passes, orders for these new vessels come in and delivery dates extend out, leaving those who hesitated in deep waters.
