What inspired you to create this app? • Provide all real estate agents free, unlimited leads to work with, whenever or where ever they want. Agents only pay cheap referral fee when a transaction is closed. • Provide consumers a free tool to instantly connect with local realtors whenever, or where ever they need from the convenience of their mobile phones. Always free for consumers. What was the process like for getting AGENTONDUTY off the ground? I have been thinking about this idea for quite some time. Although I have my MBA degree, I am not a professional computer engineer by training, so I have to form a tech team to help me realize this idea. I am very lucky to be able to hire a group of talented professionals including: computer senior software developers, computer architects, programmers, UI/UX designers, a tech liaison who hosted zoom meetings almost on a daily base in the last 4 months of the project. It took us almost a year to build this app. We almost re-designed entire app at half way mark, our cost being doubled, we had hiccups, huge hurdles, at the end, we came through to create an super easy app for users. By the end of Sept 2020, we made full release of the finished product in the app store and google play.

Any big plans for 2021? The big plan for 2021 is to see AGENTONDUTY app take off, not just in Toronto Canada but around the world where real estate transactions exist. Currently the App is in eight languages – English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Polish. We’d like to see more downloads, more users, more connections which will lead to more transactions. I dream AGENTONDUTY will become a household name when people are thinking to find a realtor for their real estate needs, either buy, sell, rent, investing, or simply just to get some real estate market tip from local realtors or mortgage brokers. On another happy note, AGENTONDUTY App has just been qualified for Canadian government’s “Scientific Research and Experimental Development” program. This came as a pleasant surprise to me last month. Knowing our team’s quality hard work is now being recognized by Canadian government, not only I am very proud of my team, but also gives me the great confidence on the directions I am taking for this innovative journey.
