How did you get involved in the interior design industry? I worked with a designer staging homes for about 5 min before realizing I needed to start my own design firm! I hired 4 employees my 1st year! What are a few home design trends that people expect for this Fall? Terra Roza mixed with dusty pink will be HOT Fall colors! Expect to see this in pillows accessories artwork and lines. This color looks great with mustard yellow. Do you have a favorite furniture piece for the upcoming season? YES! The brand new Urbanology Designs sofa and chair! Its minimal modern beauty is absolutely stunning and will become a new staple piece for our projects! We love this Cali casual piece, because it can be dressed up or down, just like a good pair of jeans. :) What’s your recommendation for transitioning someone’s home from Summer to Fall? Cozy it up! Think layers, texture and ambiance. Chunky knit blankets, hand woven baskets, bright leafy branches (red, orange, yellow and green), are great ways to add some Fall love to your home. We also love to diffuse thieves and frankincense oils for a light but fragrant Fall sent.
