A NOTE FROM GARY
30 years as a Realtor, 17 as a broker. I live in the here and now, but sometimes it’s good to look back. I clearly remember when Ocean Drive had one restaurant, Lincoln Road was boarded up, South of 5th was the definition of a blighted area and Sunset Harbour was where you went to get your car repaired. Condos were selling for $20,000, but it didn’t matter – there wasn’t a market. But how I knew there would be!
Today, it’s much different. Today, we sell the future. Whether it’s a knock-down and rebuild or even a small condo with no ocean view off Meridian, customers today are thinking about tomorrow. Today our brokerage is celebrating Daniel Rosa, with his $25 million sale of a modern Miami Beach mansion 3114 N. Bay Road, with sweeping views of Biscayne Bay. This mansion is sensational.
I keep telling my agents that this isn’t a race. It’s about the fundamentals, identifying buyers and sellers, figuring out what each want, inching them closer and closer together and then magic happens with a buyer closing. As a broker who was here before any of the national brands, corporate-owned, franchises or New York based firms came into the South Beach real estate market, I’ve seen & experienced it all.
I know that longevity is the result of having integrity and heart along with passion and the desire to succeed. Finding the right property for Daniel’s buyer was about finding the “right”property and nothing else would do.
Real Estate is an art. Reality shows portray it in fantastical light but the reality is that hard work from pied a terre to Luxury is about people. And listing and selling for any other reason simply will not do. Enjoy your peek into 3114 N. Bay Rd, Daniel Rosa-style.
