30 years as a Realtor, 17 as a broker. I live in the here and now, but sometimes it’s good to look back. I clearly remember when Ocean Drive had one restaurant, Lincoln Road was boarded up, South of 5th was the definition of a blighted area and Sunset Harbour was where you went to get your car repaired. Condos were selling for $20,000, but it didn’t matter – there wasn’t a market. But how I knew there would be!

Today, it’s much different. Today, we sell the future. Whether it’s a knock-down and rebuild or even a small condo with no ocean view off Meridian, customers today are thinking about tomorrow. I keep telling my agents that this isn’t a race. As a broker who was here before any of the national brands, corporate-owned, franchises or New York based firms came into the South Beach real estate market, I’ve seen & experienced it all.
