Two Boat Shows Set to

DROP ANCHOR in Northern Ohio

Many parts of Northern Ohio are summer hotspots for boaters due to the coastline along Lake Erie. Erie’s sparklingly blue waters are a boaters’ paradise, and while Ohio winters make boating a no-go, summer isn’t too far away. For those starting to look ahead, preparation for boating season is beginning. As the snow and ice melt, several parts of Northern Ohio offer incredible waterfront access. Two areas in Northern Ohio are located along the shores of Erie and hosting major events to help residents get ready for the warm weather that ushers in boating season in Ohio. These major events are the Catawba Island Boat Show and the Cleveland Boat Show. Let’s take a look at both these exciting upcoming Ohio events.

Catawba Island Boat Show 2022

Catawba Island is a small town on the peninsula along Lake Erie, roughly an hour and a half drive from Cleveland. It is right on the Erie waters, and with multiple marinas and boat rental spots, it is a boater’s dream. The Catawba Island Boat Show has incredible deals on some of the top watercraft options available. Cleveland Boat Show 2022 Cleveland’s location on Lake Erie has made it an important American city for generations now and a dream destination for those that enjoy their summers along the water. This year, the Cleveland Boat Show will return for the first time since 2020, after the 2021 iteration was canceled, and a previously scheduled show was postponed to March. The 2022 Cleveland Boat Show is set to take place from March 17th-20th at the I-X Center and will draw a large crowd of attendees and vendors. General Admission tickets are currently on sale for $16, with discounted rates available to seniors and military personnel. Children six and under can enter this event for free. The Cleveland Boat Show is a large one, and it will have countless exhibitors showing off incredible boating options. You can browse for different boats of all kinds, ranging from small personal watercraft to larger vessels that can

comfortably accommodate the whole family. You can also browse for equipment like fishing gear and watersports items, so anything you need for the summer is on-hand, at great prices. In 2020, the Cleveland Boat Show became a more entertainment-based, family-friendly event, and that continues with an exciting 2022.
