amie Schneck knew about Haverford’s women’s soccer team long before she took the head coaching job, and she liked what she saw. As a soccer player during her undergrad years at Muhlenberg College, and later as an assistant coach at Washington College, she saw Haverford players with terrific work ethics and the motivation to win. So when the job opened up

in 2006, she was very interested in coaching the kinds of student athletes who played for the Fords. The result? Success, and a lot of it. Her teams have won 134 games, made the postseason in all but two of the years she has coached, and played in the NCAA tournament three times.
