Sunset Summer Trail Running Series
Race proceeds will benefit the trails in Haverford Township. Registration opens May 17--available online at www.havtwp.org. For more info contact Eileen Mottola emottola@havtwp.org This series will provide low-pressure trail running opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and levels of experience. Whether you are a seasoned trail runner or a first timer, one or all of the races in the series is for you. The series will take place on the trails of Haverford Reserve and consist of a loop and a few hills. Race dates: Wednesdays 6/24, 7/29 Race times: 7p.m. Race fees: $15/race Day of registration (if not sold out): $20

Nature Series
Stream Hike Sunday, May 17 (1-2pm)
Bring your boots and prepare to get in close to the creeks at the Reserve. Find out who lives in the streams and how the environment impacts them.
DCVA’s Young Naturalists
Nature immersion program for children (ages 5-10) focusing on nature exploration, team building, and honing observational skills. Indoor and outdoor programs, weather permitting. • Saturday, May 23 (10-12 noon) World Turtle Day. Come dressed as a turtle or tortoise (or wear green) to show your love for these remarkable reptiles. We will learn ways they are threatened and what we can do to protect their habitats.
