Nature & Adventure Camps

Tadpoles

Campers will learn about the wonders of nature and make some friends along the way. Tadpoles will investigate soil and critters, discover and touch animal habitats, and have a blast doing awesome nature-themed crafts and experiments. Must be potty trained.

Huck Finn

Go on an adventure this summer along Darby Creek. We will go fishing, tubing, shoot rockets, and build a fire at the Haverford Reserve! We include a field trip in each two-week session. Location: Merry Place

Pippi Longstocking

Are you looking for a week of adventure celebrating fun, fierce, and fearless young women? Join us as we explore the creek, flex our creative muscles, go on a field trip, and enjoy the world around us.

Ages: 9-12 Fee: $175/week ($25 sibling discount)

Detectives

Become a detective of nature at the Haverford Reserve this summer! Campers will spend the week searching for habitats, turning over logs, investigating stream ecosystems, and much more.

Ages: 6-8 Location: CREC

Wild About Art

The best art is made where the wild things are. Beginners to passionate young artists are welcome to grow wild about art with us! This camp brings together an exploration of nature with a chance to be a creator. We’ll learn about using natural materials to make paintings, sculptures, pressed art and more!

Adventure Squad

Prepare for some great outdoor adventures! Our quests, challenges, and games make us ready for anything in the woods. We’ll try our hands at shelter building, navigation, signaling, animal tracking, moving with stealth, and more.

Teen Adventure Camp

Young teens, get off the couch for some outdoor fun this summer! Activities may include launching objects, building fires, capture the flag, and much more. They will finish each week with an awesome field trip. Location: CREC

Geoventures

Spy Training Camp

Our spies in training will become experts in the art of disguise, code-breaking, surveillance, stealth, and leaving no trace. We will solve high-level crimes, write invisible messages, navigate challenging obstacle courses, and try to discover the double-agent.
