april 2010 Customer Profile: Richard Holibaugh If you had to choose just one board to ride, which would it be and why? Probably the 10’ bing because I could ride knee high junk to overhead chuns.
What do you do for a living? I am a correctional officer.
What do you do when you're not surfing or working? Cruise with my wife & our daughter or play soldier on select weekends.
How long have you been shopping at Hawaiian South Shore? Almost 2 years time flies.
Sales Help Wanted Now! How long have you been surfing? About 25 years. Started the summer before my freshman year in high school.
Where do you usually surf? Seems like white stains (plains) beach because it's the most convienent, but there is a spot in Waianae that I like: north shore if it's under 6 feet, I like lighthouse too if the wind is light and it's a weekday.
What do you enjoy most about surfing? You can have a conversation with yourself and no one will think anything is wrong.
What does your board quiver consist of? One SUP, a 12'1 laird, aka big red, a 10' bing Indy noserider, a 9'0 bing zeph is is, a 7'8 takayama egg, a 6'8 merrick flyer, a 6'6 custom Ivan, and a 6'6 Ivan twish. Always looking for additions now that I have a place to keep' em all.
Do you know someone that could be a great sales person? I'm seeking a part time worker for our rapidly growing surf shop. Our busy shop is constantly buried with far too much to do. We need a sales person that is honest, organized and likes to complete their tasks. Keith and Saresa are always buried with work and need some help with sales. They believe in excellent customer service and maintain that they need help from someone that is honest, detailed-oriented and sociable. Do you know someone? If so, please have the person call or email us right away! We are looking for a person that is able to work 15 hours a week, pay is negotiable. Our number is 597-9055 and email us at hawaiiansouthshore@gmail.com. Hopefully you will be able to help us! Thank you very much, David Kelly
