Signature statement; I confirm that I have read the terms and conditions of the Haws Watering Cans Manufacturing Warranty and that this claim complies accordingly and is therefore a bonafide claim against manufacturing defect.
Terms & Conditions 1 To be valid any Manufacturers Warranty Claim must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase. 2 The Warranty covers any claim against manufacturing defect and does not cover accidental or wilful damage or what might be considered to be normal wear and tear. 3 The Warranty on metal cans will be invalidated if the can has been left with water inside and allowed to freeze (serious and characteristic distortion of the metal body will occur in such circumstances). 4 Warranty claims will be handled directly by the Manufacturers, Haws Watering Cans Ltd. The Company reserves the right to offer to repair or replace any cans that are the subject of a claim or to offer compensation directly proportionate to the claim in question.
5 Warranty claims can only be validated when presented on the appropriate Company claim form which is available to download at www.haws.co.uk or upon application by calling 0121 420 2494 or by writing to Haws Watering Cans, 120 Beakes Rd, Smethwick, West Midlands, B67 5AB. This document provides a full version of the claim and allows the Company to properly establish the validity of the claim. 6 Properly presented claims will be acknowledged within 5 working days and handled within 15 working days of receipt. 7 Photographic evidence is not required as part of the claim but can be very helpful. haws Watering Cans reserve the right to request photographs of the subject of a claim in order to assist in the process of handling the claim.

8 In some circumstances sight of the subject of a claim may be required. In these cases any postage involved will be refunded as part of the Warranty claim as long as the claim is validated by the Company. 9 Different Haws Watering Cans products carry different warranty terms. The following list determines the guarantee terms. Products guaranteed for 10 years Professional Cans 186/1, 186/2, 186/4. Heritage Cans 790 series Slimcans 501 and 801 series Traditional Cans 196/1, 196/2 Products guaranteed for 5 years Deluxe Plastic Cans 170 and 169 series Products guaranteed for 3 years Blow moulded Cans 450, 850, 660 series Products not included in the above listings carry a 12 month guarantee in line with statutory consumers rights.
