Concept Ninety-Five is a restaurant that explores the mysteries that are Earth’s oceans and seas. There has been a curiosity about the ocean for most of modern human existence. However, even after all this time, ninety-five percent of the world’s waterways have yet to be explored. This restaurant discovers and abstracts the deep bed of the ocean and what creatures live amongst it. It will fill it’s customers with wonder and curiosity and will attract people from all over the country.

Important Considerations
Egress
ADA
This space has been conceptualized through the idea of what it would feel like to be in the deep sea. Since it is so dark, and most animals are not pack animals, one would feel a sense of isolation and uncertainty. This is translated to make the guest feel excited and curious about where they are going to be once being seated by the host.
Waiting Area & Dining Area
Cocktail & Sushi Bar
The bar is informed by the common luminous skeletal structure that most deep ocean animals have acquired through evolution. The form of the bar has been made to mimic the form of the stairs.
The dining area has been designed to feel calming, yet still create a sense of bustle and liveliness. This is meant to juxtapose the feeling of uncertainty of the waiting area.

NEXT
Corporate 12,556 Sq. Ft.
Concept NEXT Real-estate is a company that strives to fulfill the needs of their internal and external relations through community and innovation. These values are exemplified through their workplace in the Denver, CO location. Artistic Submersion This office space was heavily inspired by art and Denver’s local art scene. Art is the muse for these spaces because like people, art is forged from those who come from all walks of life who carry unique experiences. Denver is a place where all of the experiences come together to create a diverse, inviting and inspiring community. The NEXT office achieves this through the abstraction of pieces from local Denver artists and form. Each conference room is inspired by a local Denver artist. Biophilia The warm colors and organic forms were informed by the natural red rock that is a prominent aspect of Colorado.

Large Conference Room
This painting was chosen as a mural due to its organic shape and sophisticated look that is a perfect statement to the clients.
Respite Hallway This is a respite hallway that is designed to support the diverse personalities in an office and the different levels of introversion and extroversion. Having a place to be alone and recharge your energy for the day is a great way to increase productivity in the office.
Office Space Organizational Structure
Open Office
The Red Rock Amphitheater was chosen as inspiration due to the immersive art one experiences there. This is a similar feeling that virtual reality conveys. This is designed as a feature wall for when clients would enter the open office area as well as for symbolic purposes.
Connect Zone & Medium Conference Room
This is the second connect zone in a “family room type layout that is meant for employees and clients to feel comfortable and to truly connect with one another.
This was inspired by a local wall mural in Denver, CO. The design is intended to make a statement for clients to see when they first enter the west half of the building. This space also heavily relates back to the concept.
A high-tech destination that encourages active participation and equal opportunity to share ideas. Supports generative collaboration with co-located or distributed teammates and promotes fluid interaction between people, tools and technology.

CONVIVIO
Hospitality 1,005 Sq. Ft.
Concept Convivio means “Banquet in Italian The concept for this restaurant is based off of a movement known as Slow Food. It was founded by Carlo Petrini in 1986, in Bra, Piedmont Italy. It is an organization that promotes local food and traditional cooking. This was chosen as the main inspiration for Convivio due to the importance of community in the movement that is reflected in the restaurant and how it relates to the Spring Green community. This design was accomplished by drawing inspiration from Bra, Piedmont Italy itself. The interesting ceilings inspired the forms of the design and the color pallet is abstracted from the local architecture of the area.

Privacy Correlation
Public Semi-Public Private
Each Ceiling type and material directly corresponds to the privacy level of the floor plan. The materials selected are based on acoustical control for the amount of users for that space. This design also allows for each space to be grounded and have a defined sense of place.
The layout is meant for variety and flexibility. It is imperative for this restaurant to have a large variety of seating due to both large and small groups of people that Convvio regularly has. The furniture is movable and easy to rearrange due to the multi-functionality that Convivio hopes to adopt for the community of Spring Green.
