imon unleashes his most violent physical assault to date this week, as an almighty shove sends Leanne hurtling head-first into a table! As she lies bleeding and unconscious, Simon does a runner – leaving his stepmum for dead… “Simon has lashed out at Leanne before, but this time the consequences are very severe,” reveals our cobbles insider. “Poor Leanne ends up with a nasty head wound. He’s lucky he hasn’t killed her.”
SIMON SAYS…
Despite its turbulent end, the week actually gets off to a positive start, as Simon agrees to be on his best behaviour and help out around the flat in return for a new mobile phone. Relieved that the 12-year-old appears calmer, Leanne hopes Simon has laid his demons to rest. But things soon take a sinister turn when the youngster makes a scene in the Bistro and orders Robert to stay away from his mum, since all her men end up dead or running off. “Leanne is mortified by this,” exclaims our mole. “She’s so embarrassed – she reads Simon the riot act, telling him he can forget about having a new phone after his little performance. But her scolding
only serves to stoke the fire – and the worst is yet to come.” The following day Simon is sent home from school after he gets involved in a fight. “Simon tries to blame Leanne, arguing that the boys at school were picking on him because she won’t buy him a decent phone,” says our spy. “Leanne is furious, and orders Simon to make himself useful and do the dishes while she runs a bath. When she refuses to back down, Simon sees red and launches himself at her!” The sheer force of Simon’s attack sends Leanne flying, and as she tumbles to the floor, she whacks her head on a table, causing her to pass out. Meanwhile Simon flees, leaving his injured stepmum in a pool of blood in the living room. Fortunately for Leanne, she’s left the tap running – causing water to start seeping through the ceiling in the kebab shop. Concerned Dev and Mary head upstairs to investigate, and when they get no response from inside the flat, they
