LAMP DESIGN

the project.

Individual Project Hand built and wired

Woods at Dawn: A portable lamp

Capture the picturesque moment when the sun reaches over the horizon and shines through the forest.

Uses the shape and lines of trees to imitate the appearance of a forest. Trees are not perfectly linear; they bend at all different angles which is portrayed in the portable lamp. Light shines through the negative space to create an image of trees surrounding the light which imitates when the sun reaches just over the horizon to shine light through the forest and casts shadows.
