TRAVEL DESTINATION CONSERVATIVE AREA MOUNT SALAK- HALIMUN NATIONAL PARK

The development of tourism in Bogor Regency impacts the demand for accommodation around the tourist destination. Surrounded by mountains and hills, Bogor Regency is well known for natural tourism. Located in Tamansari Village, Tamansari District in the middle part of Bogor Regency, the Tamansari Resort is surrounded by tourist destinations, mostly waterfalls, in Sundanese waterfalls is called Curug.

As an accommodation that specializes for guests on vacation, the resort specialty offers the serene view of the mountain forest to freshen their mind. The natural atmosphere, breeze, and cool weather of mountain hills forest, and the view of the conservation area in Mount Salak-Halimun National Park as the main interest from the resort for tourists to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Built close to the Mount Salak - Halimun National Park the design planning must follow the building policy in Bogor Regency to avoid environmental damage and illegal building issues. According to the Bogor Regency Regional Regulation of 2008 concerning Bogor Regency Spatial Planning 2005-2025, the area is water infiltration area and a tourism business facilities development area. The site has 20% Building Coverage Ratio, 80% Green Coverage Area, and 12m maximum building height.

Responds to the context, the Tamansari Resort's concept is designed to harmonize with nature from its spatial composition to the material and structure. Organic architecture as a reference in planning and designing the resort to blend in with nature, including natural materials with an earthy tone and natural finishes and preserving the green area. The spaces are mostly designed as open air space and outdoor activities, as well the private area has a lot of openings to enjoy nature from the inside.

Valley villas are composed in a linear organization along the river edge, viewing the pine forest in the valley of the Mount Salak conservative area. Materials Composition of earthy tone materials from woods and stones to create a warm ambience.

Julang Ngapak The roof shape takes form from one of the Sundanese traditional houses' roof, Julang Ngapak. Julang Ngapak as an analogy of a bird's wings flapping is chosen to present an ethnic ambience. The roof structure is woods with thatched roof covering material chosen is reeds which are commonly found around the site.

Placed on the water lilies pond, the yoga space is surrounded by lush tropical greeneries. The floating yoga wood decks are composed as an analogy of the water lilies leaves.

BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING (RTBL) OF NGALIYAN DISTRICT, SEMARANG

I had a chance to join CV. Wisanggeni on an urban design project from September 2017 until February 2018. I was involved in the design process of buildings and environmental planning with the scope of works creating 3d design models and animation for each designed spot. The internship was really exciting, I got to be among the professional urban designer, some of them are my lecturer in the university. I joined their discussion several times, and prepare the materials for focus group discussion. The experience was priceless, transforming the urban design theories I got in the class and deliver the ideas into a real design proposal. The urban design project was about RTBL of the Ngaliyan District at Semarang. RTBL or Building and Environmental Planning is a Building design guide for an environment/area intended to control spatial use, building, and environmental management. Urbanization and Migration Rate causes the increase of population in the city center and high demand for space but the area of city center remains. That's when the Spread Effect happens, the density in the city center causes growth toward the outskirts of the city. To preserve the function of the area as water infltration and flood control, the Building and Environmental Planning are needed to keep the growth on track.
