Seeking to fill a void in the market for fun and affordable home products and tapping into my love of modern mid-century design, I started Hay-oh. My name is Adrienne Parsons and I am an urban planner turned designer. Following a childhood filled with creating and selling handmade items at craft fairs, designing clothes, thrift shopping and crafting with my mom (fibre artist Marianne Parsons), I went to university and became an urban planner. Afterwards - career, family and then, the epiphany. I went from designing communities to taking the plunge and designing home accessories. Today, I am back doing what I love, using my hands, being creative and being inspired and helped by my kids and my mom!
